I saw Simp on the thumbnail, and I absolutely had to listen to this! Such a memorable character! 😂 The one game I regret purchasing was Staxel. The game seemed fun, but the motion sickness couldn't get me very far.
I completely forgot about Staxel! I was so excited for that game, it looked like Minecraft but with more customization, farming & life sim elements, but... it just wasn't great.
Just a quick note: Project Me is no longer a Mobile release due to their funding partner withdrawing (aka they did no see enough turnover during the tests). The team decided to go back to the drawing board and will most likely go the PC and Console release route, but they have yet to 100% confirm what is going to happen with the game. It might even end up on Kickstarter, but they did not give on up it at this time, but there is also a lot less info coming out since they lost their funding partner (and there was already very little info before...) Personally I LOVED Sandrock (on PC) and I was feeling both guilty and happy when they announced that Project Me would no longer go the Mobile route... XD
Oh, thanks for the info! I'll have to look more into it! Like you, one on hand it's sad that they lost their funding, on the other hand, a PC game might be better than mobile!
Such a great collab! Regarding Everafter Falls, the developer has released an update to remove the fishing mini game so fishing is a lot easier now. Also you have the option to wear enchanted equipment to help with combat in the mines. I actually find the mines/dungeons quite interesting and I'm not usually into combat.
Look I respect you both but I will defend Everafter Falls with my life 🤣 love the fishing minigame, love the combat, love the automation, and LOVE that it has local co-op!
Building/decorating in Outbound looks so good. Very interesting concept, and It'll be fun traveling around with friends. I'll have to watch reviews for Home Sweet Home when it releases. I'm not really into gaming on my phone, so I hope they port it if it's good!
I had the same thought about how various games are doing a different fishing mini-game for what feels like the sake of being different without making sure it's necessarily fun.
26:48 lmao I reported that bug weeks before release as a tester for the game on switch and then got so annoyed when the game launched with that bug still in the game because the patch got delayed until after release due to the backlog in switch updates 🤣
I agree with most of your thoughts on the games except I love the My Time series - but definitely better on PC than console. I am excited for the new Natsume game. I do hope it released on another platform later on.
My one regret purchase was the ultimate edition of Disney Dreamlight valley on the Nintendo switch that I paid over $100 for. It ran so badly on the Nintendo switch that it gave me severe motion sickness and I was unable to play it. Asked Nintendo for a refund as even the developers of the game have acknowledged that the switch version of the game can cause motion sickness but Nintendo REFUSED to refund me. Ended up having to get a third party involved to get a refund under my consumer rights. Left an extremely bad taste in my mouth that they chose this hill to die on when all I was asking for was for a refund of $100 when I’ve spent over $3000 with their company since 2020
I’m so grateful Palia came to the switch, otherwise I would have no way of playing it. Yes it is pretty rough, but I enjoy the game so much! I do hope they bring it to the ps5 though, that would be great lol.
I am always thankful when games come to the switch as I’m too sick to play games unless I’m playing in handheld. And the steamdeck isn’t available in my country
I really love the Doraemon Story of Seasons games! It would be amazing if we got a rune factory or mainline game with the same artstyle, it’s such a shame it’s only being used for doraemon. The first game is such a grind fest though, I remember spending an extra 50-60 hours after completing the main story just to finish all of the character events.. 😢
I really wanted to love Hokko Life but the designing and making of furniture was so clunky that I ended up avoiding the game as a whole. I was very disappointed with the cooking feature in Everdream Valley. Never finished. I do love Ever After Falls.
My biggest disappointment was Garden Paws on Switch. I love the game on Steam. I was so excited to have it on Switch. It just doesn't work well, and you can't name anything.
I started creatures of Ava on gamepass last night. It's okay but the platforming puzzles are too hard for me even in the beginning. I hate timing things and got stuck early in dungeons of hinterburg too.

They posted a picture in the Pathea discord channel today of the new player character for the next My Time game
@RachelXKnight666 yep, I saw! They are making it into the next My Time at and they are gearing up for a Kickstarter before the end of this year!
@@merukochan I hope I get to test for the next Nintendo system again. I got to test both Sandrock and let’s school lol

I love Everafter Falls! I wish ppl would try to play it for a few hours. It's very addicting if given a true chance.
Wait this is the collab of my dreams! I am SO excited for thiiiiis!

Love it so much!!! Glad to see others enjoying it.
My time at sandrock is on gamepass now too. I've heard switch updates have improved it alot too.

I finished ever after falls! It was sooo fun! The combat could be better but everything was so Perfect especially the festivals!

Me too!! I love the My Time series!
The best version of Portia imo is the mobile port with all of its quality of life features

25:31 rip to me who’s enjoying playing the game on switch especially since its performance patches and updates

Meow bistro on android looks like sprout valley too. It's a time management game though.
So the first game on our Games We Regret Playing -- um, we haven't played this one. genius

Hokko life was not my favourite. It kinda got boring for me. Loved the podcast josh. ❤ 😊

Oriental Valley is definitely a parody, and its a pretty decent one at that haha
Proyect Dragon Come homeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeT.T
