This solo episode was a lot of fun Josh! It was definitely shorter, but really fun. The highlighting of comments was a big win in my opinion. It helps incentivize people to leave comments and participate, which is really cool!
As to getting a co-host or doing every other week, I think that is up to you and your capacity/what you want the show to be ultimately. Does the co-host match your energy/the vision for the podcast? Would going to every other week allow you the space creatively to make the videos as well as give you the time to find guests?
Will be here no matter what you choose.

I loved your solo episode! If you have the capacity, I’d say do solo episodes every once in a while just to talk about news and games from your perspective! It was so nice hearing all of your thoughts and answering viewers’ comments. And it’s still early on, but I wish you so much luck with your game development journey! I’d love to know if you’d ever develop a farming game and what type of storyline it would be. 💕
I always enjoy listening, even when it's you podcasting solo. Tbh, tuning in every week keeps me motivated and makes me feel less alone. We all appreciate your hard work🌸

Hi Josh! I love catching up with your podcast every couple weeks! I usually don't have time to tune in weekly but appreciate all your hard work with the podcast and your main channel content. I was surprised to learn about your lack of work/life balance but understand since you live stream, make content, and play games as often as you do! I hope you will start to take more time for yourself and relax. I am sure we'll stil tune in whether you decide to change up the podcast schedule or change your hosting setup!
aww, I love this, having a cohost might be interesting and all! But if you feel more comfortable doing it every two weeks that would be great too!
I don't know how you manage to do a weekly podcast on top of everything else you do lol. I enjoyed the episode, and I think you can carry the podcast on your own. I assume most people are here to hear your thoughts on everything and guests are a fun bonus.
Idk how far ahead you plan, but you could pose a specific question/prompt/topic to the audience in each episode so the comments are easier to pull from for the next.
A lot of things are learn as you go, so kudos to you for doing it alone even though you felt nervous about it. I'm sure you'll figure out what works best for you, and people will be there to watch!
Loved the solo podcast! The comments from listeners section was great. It's great when on podcasts and radio they answer listener questions or discuss comments from the community ❤
I'd be fine with less frequent releases, if the workload becomes too much. But please keep making the podcast because it's so much fun, I've been enjoying it immensely
Regarding Mirthwood, i am glad to see they delayed it instead of releasing it when they didn't feel it was ready. Unfortunately delaying it right before release was disappointing to a lot of people.
That was the only part that left me a little salty as well Mist. I am 100% behind them delaying. Doing so 2 days before they are supposed to release though? That was a bit of a tough pill to swallow. They have valid reasons and I always support transparency and refining a product before release, but I feel they could have come to the decision and announced it earlier. Not peeved enough to not play, I am still stoked for the game, just would have liked it to be earlier.

I enjoyed this solo podcast, so if u struggle with a guest, then please feel free to do it solo, I think in the world of cosy games, farming sim, life sim games, there are SO much games out there, past, present, and future, so I think there are a lot of potentials for finding a topic to have a solo chat about, and just throwing in an idea, if u want to solo podcast and talk about a specific genre or specific game, and u want to see the comments about it, u can always write a post to ask for your viewers' opinion on the game u're going to talk about, so then in the podcast u can read out those comments and have a discussion about it.
And I think 2 weeklys would be more healthier for u, since u are still a solo host, so as u said, it's not sustainable for u to continue this routine, so definitely change it up and find what works the best for u! Considering u also cover games, gameplays and other things on your other channel, and then doing this channel as well it is a lot of work, so u definitely need to spread them out a bit more and look after yourself, less risk of burn out as well. Take care Josh, and this is a great podcast, I enjoyed this episode, I walked on treadmill watching this and it definitely made the time flies :D
Solo episodes ftw! Also 30 mins is fine as an episode length, often I’ll pick my next thing to watch based on length!

Hi Josh! About the pathea AI issue, I'm in their discord and they clarified the issue. The one who 'admitted' using AI was their PR person who doesn't even know their process and their artists came forward and said there was no AI, they showed their process and took a stance saying they are also against AI. Their studio is based in China and AI is more common and accepted there that's why their PR person probably thought they used it. He also apologized to the players and his own team for the mistake. Loving the podcast! Keep it up!

You did a great job for adapting to not having a co-host. It's already in the title, but it definitely feels like a "This week in cozy gaming news" kind of vibe that is similar in format to other gaming content I've watched and enjoyed. Heck, you've made plenty of videos like this already such as monthly cozy games updates so it's no wonder why you were able to pull off this episode so well.
As for what should you do for the podcast, starting and making a podcast is difficult. I've watched/listened to so many podcasts over the years. You have to find your groove over time. Find what works for you and don't try to force a certain format if it just isn't working. It sounds like something you enjoy doing so I hope you can find a way to continue doing it. Maybe weekly is too much or maybe with you doing a podcast while also making your other videos that kind of overlap content-wise, it might be better if you find a way to combine them to lessen the workload.
I don't envy your position as a content creator with the considerations towards metrics and algorithms and the stress involved. All I know is I've been enjoying the podcast and your other videos. Thank you for all that you create! I hope this podcast can go on, but I'd be more than understanding if it can't.

I love this podcast, I love that even if you don't have a guest for the week, having comments is sort of like having us as a guest! That's fun. When StarTalk Radio with Neil DeGrass Tyson doesn't have guest they do that too, members of the podcast send in questions or topics to talk about.

Like I really dislike animal crossing. It frustrates me. You hear all these things about people visiting islands. But I only wanted to play with my veteran friend. But everytime she would tell me to do something I would have to kick her out do it and regroup... ugh.
The online features were really badly executed in New Horizons 😭 Hopefully they can get it right next time!
