Really didn’t like this rebrand when it first came ….. and ….. i still don’t. In fact i have completely dis-associated with the brand. Last time i was in Scotland i tried some Benromachs in a bar in Inverness and each one i just could not click with.

Great list. I did my own and it looks like this Lowlands: Glengoyne Teapot dram (It's a bit of a grey zone here and lack of experience of Lowland whisky, but I agree with Allan, The Wisky friend, the new make spirit is made in the Highlands but it becomes wisky in the casks in the warehouse in the Lowlands). Highlands: Edradour 12yo Caledonia Speyside: Craigellachie 13yo Islands: Arran Sherry Cask The Bodega Campbelltown: Springbank 10yo Islay: Port Charlotte 10yo I would be quite happy with these 6 beauties for the rest of my life. I bought an Arran 10 yesterday for 32 euros (summer sale).

DON'T WANT TO SEE: I'd love to be nominating some of the new (integrity distillery) age-statements but at the prices that Kilchomann & Bruichladdie/Port Charlotte are asking, forget it. Can't justify buying <20 yr product for those prices. Insane. Worst thing is they're giving other distilleries the idea that north of 150 for an 18yr old is reasonable. Bored with the continued Springbank love-in. It's great whisky. But IMO there's better, and there's better that isn't weirdly fetishised and over-priced. WANT TO SEE: Hope an Ardnamurch 10yr is released soon enough for the OSWAS. Would be very happy to hear Roy & Ralfies own personal nominations/choices for each category too. LESS TIME spent going over the voting criteria & rules: people watching live will be there because they know the score, and anyone watching on the replay can just rewind back to the start if they want a reminder of how/why they votes are counted etc.

Lowland - Kingsbarns Dream to Dram (I’ve only had 3 bottles from this region, the others were Auchentoshan 12 and Glenkinchie 12) 2. Highland - Glendronach 18 3. Speyside - Craigellachie 13, but since you got first dibs on it, I’ll go with Benromach 15 4. Islands - Arran 14 (I have an open bottle and 2 spares; I’ll nurse those until Arran releases the new 14😁) 5. Campbeltown - Longrow 18 6. Islay - Kilchoman Loch Gorm

RIP some solid bottles! I find myself more and more not replacing the gone ones. There's so much good stuff out there that I can't bring myself to buy the whiskies I've tried before. It's a good conundrum to have :)

So many unopened bottles, how do you hold back? 🤣 I agree with your point about the Bunna 12, my last bottle wasn't great but the Stiureadair is always consistent. Thanks for sharing 🥃🥃
