If I'm lucky I'll find a pour.. quick question, been getting into peated scotch over lat several months. Want to step up my peat level.looking at port Charlotte 10 or Ardberg uigeadail. Swaying to port Charlotte both around $130. Any recommendations 🥃

@@JeffWhisky I fell in love with Powers 100% Irish Rye this year. Never really been a bourbon head but found I liked the formulations that had more Rye in it. Took the plunge for an 100% Rye and I absolutely love the thing!

Right now drinking Millstone 4 YO peated PX original bottling, a great whisky for 30 quid! I am very keen on their special #23 7 year old PX. Good on you for choosing an outisder!

@@JeffWhisky No idea how good supplies in the UK are. It is a dark whisky and comes in a similar shaped bottle to the Edradour Ibisco (12YO) Have a good one!
Will buy a replacement to go double dutch! There is a Master of Malt bottle which is very apparently is very similar which is cheaper and bigger... Think will be making a purchase soon! Cheers

Can see why it’s up there as your favorite and one you’ve put me in the mood for to re visit. Slainte slapper 🥃
Nice one Jeff, Millstone is doing great things. As a peat&sherry lover you should try their peated px or if you like rye they have 100 rye which is phenomenal! Cheers to a great 2023 and roll on 2024 🥃
The Nikka from the barrel is similar in that it’s a great price, but it’s actually only 500ml. If you do the math, a full-sized 750 ml bottle would be like $100.

@@JeffWhisky sorry. The Peated PX is actually 6 years old. Similar to the Peats Beast PX, taste wise. Living in Germany has its advantages.
