- The Port Charlotte Rock'ndall 03.2 a 20 year old peated delight and part of the Rock'ndaal 2024 festival releases with a 10 year old Bruichladdich and grateful to have got my hands on a bottle!
Very grateful to a wonderful mate who sorted this bottle and a couple of samples of the liquid with it. As mentioned in the video me receiving this empty bottles and samples has no direct connection with the Bruichladdich distillery but the person who sent it to me does have a connection to the bottle. So while all above board I wanted to be fully transparent with you.
A massive cheers to the brilliant Bottle Slap Club Member Tom for giving us a fantastic bottle slap in that damn heat!

I see the reason in drawing the line of scoring a bottle on actually spending time with a bottle rather than making a judgement after two small drams.

Nice one Jeff, lucky you to receive a sample of this. I had last years Rock N Daal which was unpeated, 16 year old matured in Bourbon and Sauternes casks. I think the Bruichladdich spirit works great with the Sauternes effect whether peated or not (I'm assuming).
Ps. Damn that slap was on point, my Arran is jealous!
Yeah I was super grateful to try it and had to make a video so others can enjoy it through me 😂 Sauternes can be very hit or miss for me but when they hit... they hit! Cheers for watching and hope your Arran is well spanked.

The PC10 is magic but this sounds a screamer.

Enjoyed the review. Would try it if given a dram but at that price I'll stick with the port Charlotte 10, classic laddie and Islay barley and still have some change left over🙂

Fun review! If I could get this scotch I'd grab it! There's several Feis Ile expressions I'd love! I admit I'd pay some of the insane prices - within limits!

@@JeffWhisky I think after having this beauty and I have just found one by a friend in Europe - wow - will be my favourite 2024 Feis Ile expression! The peat is supposed to be fabulous! So far my favourite Feis Ile is the Bunna 2024 Triple Cheery Wood Finish! I am a smoke lover but this beauty is worth the hefty price! My husband Joel and I are loving it and sharing which is what we do! Good whisky is to be shared and enjoyed! I am looking for peated Feis Ile expressions!! Cheers! 🙂

PC10 is a bottle which you cannot go wrong with. Can often find some great deals on it too. I am not sure on the brands at Bristol Whisky Festival, I have got in touch with them as nothing has been published and heard there was very small numbers at the last Whisky Lounge event. Color me officially offended! Not because you obtained the sweet sample, but because (I think?!?) you used the Seinfeld scene transition riff despite admitting that you've never seen Seinfeld! Your ears are correct, very much the Seinfeld transition music, I just love slap bass which is very on brand! I have since watched a handful of episodes after lots of recommendations but not connected with it yet. Cheers for watching Tony!
