    Your patterns look amazing! I’m most interested in making the 1/2 frame bag but I don’t see any photos of it in the advertisement for the Frame Bag Set or mention of it in the pattern description for the set. Is it part of the Frame Bag Set? Thanks for confirming 😊

      @@tygher9 the half frame is no longer included in the set. Thanks for confirming. Frame bags require customization and I couldn’t keep up with customer questions or requests. There are a number of free tutorials online that cover how to get the perfect fit.

      the collar is sewn to the wrong side of the shell instead of how I describe. Then seam binding is used to cover the exposed edge.

      I watched, subscribed, liked and then came back after I searched your channel for a flat bag to sew for my son in law that studies engineering here in Italy. I'd love to get a few new ideas; (since I am not hip and young); he is serious too, like you, and need a flat/thin bag to carry pen, some tech and 2- 3 A4 note books; the laptop they have both in school and at home so he doesn't have to carry that back and forth; his back-pack is just too big for so little. (Just an idea, if you like a challenge)...I'd love to see something a bit more modern, not too sporty but more classic. But modern. HA! Didn't ask for much did I! :))) Feel zero pressure I am still a subscriber and a new fan. <3

      @@rly_rly the Cricut cutting mat, the pink one is their stickiest mat for fabrics so the rotary cutter gives a clean cut. It’s a bit too tacky for lightweight fabrics tho.

    This is a great pattern and walkthrough to understand joining panels for pouches. When I first started (and even now) I found doing anything gusseted EXTREMELY difficult. This takes some of the complexity out of it. Ended up lining the back panel with loop velcro to put magazine/ifak inserts in as a sort of tactical fanny.

    On the corners, where do you cut the relief cut? Is it 3/8 of an inch from the corner? Thx

      @@RetiredAdventurers sink your needle at the pivot point. Make a small cut perpendicular the seam allowance pointed at your needle. Don’t cut into the seam line.

    This is great! I made an underquilt with RSBR's kit, but the Apex insulation made it very difficult and kept getting caught on the foot. Any tips for that?

      @@pkeeney ya sewing Apex is a pain and I avoided having my seams anywhere near the raw insulation. I planned for 1/2” seam allowances. I also serged the outside edges of the quilt before binding. It was pretty tough on my small serger so wouldn’t recommend it but it saved my sanity!
