    These videos are incredible, indispensable, and really set your patterns apart. Thank you so much for everything you do for the MYOG community! I was a little nervous about making these shorts after having trouble with the pockets on my UL Windshell, but having your clear guide here is going to make a big difference! Seriously, thank you.

      Really appreciate the kind words and happy to hear they are helpful in completing your gear projects. My Windshell is an upcoming video for late summer!

    Ohhh, glad I found this. The Patagonia baggies are my favorite!

      Baggies fit me weird but I love the fabric and weight!

    I don't think I would have been able to make these without the video or even ever start. I almost think I can do it now 😆

    I’ve never before considered making my own clothes, but because of how fantastically your porter duffle worked out (even with my domestic machine), I think I’m going to have to try these! Just need to work out comparable fabrics here in Australia. Thank you so much for this video, and all the others, too!

      Awesome to hear that! It gets pretty addicting to make clothes you want to wear everyday. Same feeling as gear but don’t need to plan special trips to use.

    I have been waiting for this instructional video for a while. Thanks. I think I am going to put a zipper on the rear pocket.

      This one was long overdue but benefitted by a year of feedback, pattern update, and a new video style.

    My mother was a seamstress when she emigrated to the US. I have never thought of MYOG. I will have to try this and ask her for help.

    Thank you for this! I’m most of the way through sewing my first pair of DIAS-just the waistband and leg hems to go-and I picked up a few tips to make next time go even better. Can hardly wait to put the first pair to use and start on the second!

    I love making these shorts but I think it works better when you serge or zigzag the pieces before you sew🩳

      @@alicearmen5601 that’s a good option if you don’t mind the extra steps. Certainly helps limit fraying.

    Does the pattern have sizing/modifications for both men's and women's shorts, if there is even a difference in the Patagonia Baggies, other than color options? 😂🤷🏻

    • @LearnMYOG
      @LearnMYOG  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@BASEmonkey it’s a men’s block with size range that covers smaller sizes for women. Lots of women have made of their body shape fits the measurement table. They are basic elastic waist shorts so not a lot of variability needed.

    Do you recall the Gutermann Color Number to match the colors of Ripstops Taslan?

    • @LearnMYOG
      @LearnMYOG  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Mine didn’t match too well and I just used what I had on hand. RBTR typically lists the thread that matches and if not will help out if you get in touch with them.
