Would you consider showing how you sew the binding without the attachment? I have your Alpha Raglan Hoodie pattern and there’s not info on how to sew the binding. That would be really helpful!

@@LearnMYOG Really interested in this too, you got me head over heels for myog videos, and my first project is very likely a not too baggy light windstopper jacket with elastic cuffs. Love your videos, thanks for your input on the community!

For clarification about prestretching FOE. While it’s advisable to prestretch to prevent seam breakage, doing so makes the cuffs and waist tighter around body, seams get puckers, and garment billows out. By sewing in slack in this manner the circumference of cuffs and waist have little puckering and retain enough stretch for normal wear.

Hi. I found this video very informative and interesting. Can you share a full video please how you will sew 2 binding ends together and then will do a finishing top stitch please. Will appreciate..

I’m lazy and simply overlap the ends. When I’ve sewn binding around the cuff, I cut the binding to about 25mm of overlap. I fold the raw edge under itself so there’s no unraveling. Then simply stitch the 12mm final overlap. I like this overlap to be even with the sleeve seam.

Hi, I'm only 5' tall and all my fleece tops are too long in the sleeves ... can you share a video of adding fold over elastic to a sewn cuff without using your binder attachment?

@@LearnMYOG If you could show how you did the 45 degree join as well. Maybe you just stretched the unsewn elastic and did a simple stitch?

Could you link to where you purchased the stretch binding? Thanks! Also, where are you purchasing stretch double fold bias binding (mentioned in the hoodie instructions)?

Now a days I just use fold over elastic or make my own with a color matching stretchy knit.
