I’m fortunate enough to have 2 bikes. One, a road glide limited, to tour on and pick up groceries or whatever. The other is a Victory jackpot. It’s still big displacement but much smaller, lighter, and no extras. They both have a place and I couldn’t be happier with either one. Thank you for the videos. Keep up the good work!

My first bike was a Honda Shadow 750. Great little bike, rode it for a few years and then bought a 2003 Dyna Super Glide. Now on a 2023 Street Glide Special…….lol

I think if there was a midsize Harley that was a decent cruiser - not like a Street or Nightstar - but more like a smaller Fat Boy, smaller bikes would be more attractive.

My first bike when I was 17 was my Dads 1970 Electra Glide that he let me ride. Been on the big dressers all my life but now I’m 62 and not getting any younger.

My first bike was a 1973 Z1 Kawasaki. The smallest street bike I had was a CB550. Small bikes work great in town. I have a 750 shadow. It really revs high by 70. I am 6'3". I am more comfortable on a bigger bike.

Hi from Uk first bike 250 rode that for 3 years no screen rode it to work in the week camping and fishing on it at weekends couldn't aford a car That's the way thing used to be now we tend to hear you can't tour on that you need a adventure bike or a sports tourer or a bagger all very nice but not necessarily needed with the speed limits over here a 300 can do perfectly well. I run a street bob now have for 6 years now my adventure kit a rack sissy bar bag panniers no screen does everything I want her to do and more ride free

My first bike back in the 80s was a Yamaha 500 or 550, i dont remember for sure,,, then i had a 650 Yamaha 650 special,,, I took a 700 mile trip on it and discovered that was too small!! Then life happened with work and Rodeos .....

My first street bike was a well worn 1966 Gilera 124 cc RIGHT HAND SHIFT. It was a great small bike to learn how to ride. Next year I plan on riding my SG to Sturgis ...

I went down in size, same size motor. From a SGS to a Fat Boy. Just love it. My brother in law went from a RGS to a Chief. He is enjoying the experience. He is 75 and I am 72. We are about 160 miles from each other. We meet in the middle somewhere and ride eat lunch ride then slit up and go home. That is coming up soon, before winter (snow).

The OEM seat is better on my FXLRS. I only use the step up when I need to strap a bag to my sissy bar

I have the same on my 22 114. I’m going to remove my baffles and try to get a deeper tone.

I lost RDRS when I switched from a SGS to a Fatboy. That's ok though. I am happy. The Fatboy does alright. I have been riding since 1968. So like you I have had short of 20 different rides. Thanks again for another great video.

Thanks for the update. The only thing I was thinking of doing was just an upgraded air cleaner for my 23 Freewheeler. I find the pipes plenty loud for me, as a fellow geezer lol.

Been riding for 37 years now and as much as I appreciate the tech on my Indian Roadmaster for the highway I actually prefer the simple straight ahead ride on my Deuce. Couldn't agree more about learning to ride before you get a bike with all the tech aids. Take time to understand what's actually happening and learn to feel the road and the bike.

When technology takes over learned skills dissipate over time. People used to be able to read maps, add numbers in their head, and even remember phone numbers. Technology makes all these skills unnecessary

I won’t own a bike with any of that shit on it, including ABS. I went down 5 years ago and a still dealing with the aftermath of my injuries which I believe was caused by a malfunctioning ABS.

My Harley doesn’t have any of the modern technology. Wife’s new Harley has ride modes, ABS with the Brembo brakes.

Good video brother. I also watched a video saying the MC trailer “doesn’t have suspension” (which I think isn’t true but probably has only a torsion bar) while the larger boxy trailer has spring leaves and provides a better towing experience. Thanks for sharing it. Cheers, Eddie
