Good video post. I often use ZAN sleeves. Extra tip: use a small spray bottle with H2O to moisten or even wet the sleeves when you’re ready to ride. It’s like a/c for a while. Keep the bottle in your bag. Refresh on the next stop if needed. Ride cool(er).
It gets 110-120 where I live during the summer and riding is miserable. I got mesh jackets that have great airflow and meant for summer, but not sure it's really meant for this sort of heat. The wind here will burn your skin so the airflow, while cooling your sweat off, it's hot as shit wind. Its still 100+ all during the night so night/morning riding is still rough, but tolerable.
Great ride. DK Custums has quite a few products and ideas on internal engine temperatures. For my TC88 Deuce what's worked the best ( I think ) for engine temps is an external breather so the engine is always getting fresh cool air along with an S&S mini stealth to bring in lots of air. Was gonna go with a tank lift as well but can't with the bars I currently have. Am thinking about getting the external oil cooler and fans for my Roadmaster.
@@HarleyGeezer1954 Hmmm. gonna look into that for my Roadmaster. Never had an issue with the Deuce but always on the mission to have it run better and better. Cooler and cooler.
Great video. I was wondering how you always have such clear audio. I use a Cardo with a full-face helmet and my wife uses a helmet similar to yours and when we are communicating her audio is really scratchy if that makes since.
I'm not sure about inter-communications but I know they can be a little unclear. Here is a video of what I do for videos. th-cam.com/video/JD1PFkLMV1A/w-d-xo.html
Another great video with useful tips! Was great riding with you again.
In Florida Summer, you have to ride like a vampire. From dusk till dawn.
Staying out of traffic and keeping airflow over the motor is key to staying cool. A set of the mini Love Jugs fans work great. 😎👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Taking my MSF class, in Florida, in July. Its brutal , and im born and raised man lol

Forgot to mention, some sleeves have pretty good SPF protection. ZAN-brand advertised 50+ SPF. Skin cancer is not fun.
Good tip. Thanks.
Looks like you went to Egg Town for breakfast. It’s a nice ride from Parrish.
Yes it is. The staff is "small town" nice.

Great video. Thanks. I have to ask. What kind of a helmet is that you are wearing, and where would I find one in a store? I like to try one on.
It's a MICRO DOT. They are everywhere and even on line. This is my second one. I wore the other one out.
@@HarleyGeezer1954 thanks
Eggtown, is the food any good been meaning to try that place for quite some time, I ride by it all the time.
Get a liquid cooled motorcycle lol
