Bad FLOODING damage in the DESERT [ & EXPLODED Desert Fox fuel Bladder! ] (S2EP24)
We got warned The Road from Palmwag to Sesfontein is going to be very difficult and big rains are on the way. So we decided last minute to change plans and head towards Etosha National Park in Namibia via the Groot Berg Pass. The rain is only supposed to arrive in the late afternoon and even this road is going to be dangerous by then! But after the pass, we see that the rains have been here already.. Flood damage is everywhere and even though the water has gone, it left behind a trail of destruction on the roads! And a trail of destruction is also left by the exploded spare fuel Bladder from Desert Fox...

After camping at the main gate, we are now going to tackle the Skeleton Coast National Park in Namibia! Littered with Shipwrecks and whale bones, this is truly an eerie place. It's a pity that the film quality which is no fault of the cinematographers is due in part to rolling shutter from the small sensor action camera system. A dedicated film camera and lens system could capture scenes like the sand storm

Cissy and Werner, I am very disappointed in you. I have watched every episode of your two seasons and enjoyed every one of them. But in this episode you ventured into one of the most inhospitable and sparsely populated places on Earth and then you disappeared without a word! Read below and see how worried people were about you. Even so far as total strangers offering to go and help you. It's all very well asking people to subscribe to your channel, but then there is an obligation on your part to maintain that relationship and keep them informed. People genuinely care for you, and they feel let down at having to wait three months for you to reply. You say last week was your first opportunity to get back online, but you posted this on 9 July on Facebook (three months ago). You guys can do better than that: "Hey everyone! We have received a lot of private messages across our platforms from people that are worried as we have not been uploading or posting anything for about a month now. First of all, thank you for those messages! We realized what amazing followers we have and want to thank you all! The reason we haven’t been uploading is because we had to go back to South Africa… initially the plan was to go explore the whole of Southern Africa, but as life happens, we had to go back due to work related issues. After almost 2 years on the road (with some breaks in between) we unfortunately have to stop traveling for quite a while now. There are still about 5 episodes that have to be edited and uploaded, but we haven’t had the time yet. We hope we can continue traveling at some point, but for now the channel Is going to be silent. We will try to get the remaining episodes out there when we can. We want to thank all of you for this wonderful community, we were actually very nervous when we started this social media journey. You often hear so much negativity on TH-cam in the comment etc, but we had the opposite experience. The only reason we kept uploading is because of all the positivity coming from all of you! Thank you."

Failed my 1st test by riding over the curved line. Went to google maps to look at the aerial view of the testing field, used measuring function on google maps to measure the different distances. The way to find the curve is looking at it as a triangle. Each side of the base of the triangle is 14m, and the height I forgot the measurement, you can use the google maps aerial view measuring tool. What I remember is that the opening of the curve is 2m, and you should be able to navigate the curve at a speed between 22 and to 25km,or as fast a you can. maintaining the same speed you entered the curve, to exit the curve. Always mount and unmount your bike with you hand on the front brake. Observe before start, during and end of every maneuver. Below is a resource I found 3 months after I passed my testing, it has a layout and the score sheet of the test. www.getyourdrivers.co.za/the-test/motorcycles/yard-test-motorcycles/ www.foresightpublications.co.za/K53Vol3.pdf Below is a resource of finding practice maneuvers for riding confidence. assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/5a7e3c7fe5274a2e87db06da/motorcycle-manoeuvring-area-multi-purpose-test-centre.pdf msf-usa.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/DBS-Tips-and-Practice-Guide-2023-05-ce.pdf www.nsw.gov.au/driving-boating-and-transport/driver-and-rider-licences/rider-licences/rider-tests/test-manoeuvres www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/sharpen-riding-skills-part-2-practice-makes-perfect/ conepatterns.com/Motor%20Lessons%20ABS%20(Complete%20Text).pdf safety.army.mil/Portals/0/Documents/OFF-DUTY/PMV-2/TRAINING/Standard/Street_Motorcycle_Tips_2010.pdf www.studocu.com/en-us/document/wake-technical-community-college/advanced-film-studies/smart-rider-motorcycle-drill-booklet/29704719 www.twowheeladventures.com/BRCHandbook.pdf motorcycle.honda.ca/Content/motorcycle.honda.ca/73cda776-9369-4261-babd-2193ed7bee6f/GenericContent_Link/RideSmart_EN.pdf motorcycleridershub.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Module-1-Academy-eBook-Learn-how-to-pass-the-Module-1-test.pdf Below is link for cheap 10 cones that wont fly off. www.takealot.com/medalist-tri-disc-cones-for-agility-training-10-pack/PLID93038116 Be patient & be vigilant

Same here. This does not look good. As they’ve gone further north, I’ve gotten more & more curious about which route they were going to take, & now……..nothing

I was also following their trip but all of a sudden there's no updates on their videos. It's a worrying matter this one. I hope they are well and they just wanna finish the trip and upload the videos.

Sorry everyone! We have been forced to return to SA due to financial issues and have been working ever since. This is the first time we are back online on this channel since the last upload. There are still about 5 episodes that we need to edit, but we haven't gotten to it yet...

Luckily we have both gotten better since season 1! Its a steep learning curve as we started this trip both as beginners, but it was the best way to learn for sure
