You guys film so beautifully, the film angles, the drone shots. It tells the story of your adventure in a way that we as the viewer can almost feel it. Prachtig. And ending with een lekker biertje en een braai, geniet ervan. beautiful vlog. Safe travels!
Thank you so much for this wonderful feedback! We proberen on best 😁. But Namibia is really so scenic we don’t have to try too much to get wonderful footage!
I love when Cissy's personality slips out... sometimes a little song, a little laugh... You guys compliment each other very well. I enjoy riding along with you virtually. :)
After the washboard ride you guys certainly hit the jackpot there, what lovely stonework and paving, let alone the red sky and sunset. My thoughts tho' go out to Anna Grechishkina, who arrived in Namibia on her Africa tour only to leave her bike there in storage the next day and fly out again, as on that day the war in Ukraine started😕. Since then Anna has been helping to defend her country. May she one day be repatriated with her bike in Namibia to follow her dream🤞🤞.
Namibia is known for its stunning landscapes, rich wildlife, diverse cultures, and unique history. excellent for stargazing.. Do you have video about all the gear and tech that you use?
Oooo beautiful verby, whow. Sjo surely almost one of the most beautiful scenery videos thus far. I like it when Cissy makes those noises while riding 😂. Werner do you or have you deflated tyres when on the gravel, that will definitely help a lot with those corrugations and even in the sandy spots.
Thank you Bennie! Always when we think Namibia can’t get more beautiful it proofs us wrong the next day! We don’t really deflate our tires all the time, generally they are already deflated as we ride mostly gravel roads here.
The picture you see here is of the petrol station and hotel at Goageb...that you passed and is now demolished. My grandparents used to own the farm across from these buildings in the pic called Brackwasser. Enjoying your video and was wondering what you guys did for a living before this adventures started.
No didn't grew up there but went almost every school holiday until 15 years of age. My mom grew up there and went to school in Aus. I miss that place (the land God made in anger as the locals would say). Your vids has a nice easy flow and is a joy to watch. Looking forward to the next one and in Werner style...let's go!😂
Awesome vid! Kel and I stayed at Beta also on our African trip at the same camp site (well it is the only one there haha). Road to Sossusvlei from there during our time was washed out and heavy going hope the road is better for you guys! Safe Travels!
That’s one thing with Namibia, there are not that many campsites and routes! Most people take sort of the same roads Haha. But it’s absolutely stunning here!
Thank you! It’s called a brewspoon, it’s developed here in SA and sold in most outdoor shop by now. We are using it already for more than 2 years. It’s great to have a proper cup of coffee in the morning
Hi Shaun! We are using the therm a rest trail pro’s. They are super comfortable but unfortunately they appear not to be able to handle high temperatures though… both of our pads glue went loose and made large bubbles. Thermarest does have a lifelong guarantee so we are just getting new ones every time!
Namibia is a great country. To me one of the best in Africa.
Namibia is breathtaking! And very extreme on both landscape and temperatures which makes it a real adventure
that sunset was awesome , cissy drinking out that Goon bag like an Aussie lol , ride safe ❤
One of the best sunsets we have ever seen, magical!

That’s nice! Did you grow up there?
We were in media before we started and we still are 😁. We still go back to SA to work or we work online/phone.
