Hi Werner and Cissy. Nice to to finally catch up with your website. I met you outside the Stor-age in Cresta and you both looked so amp-ed for your upcoming journey. Just love your videos. Keep up the excellent work. Like I said to you - I wish I could do what you're doing. It couldn't happen to 2 nicer people. Rob.
Ja, been following since day 1. And big changes and improvements in this latest video. Editing skills, music, audio…..very good. So, we are following, looking fw to the next video. Well done
Thank you so much! It is always nice and uplifting to hear all the hard work is seen and appriciated. 😁 not always easy filming, downloading, charging, editing, uploading ect ect all the time while living out of a tent most of the time! 🤣🤣🤣 but we glad you can see the extra effort we have been putting in and thank you. 🙏
Wow awesome backroads, sometimes it helps to get lost to experience beauty that one normally would've missed if one stayed on the planned route. Nice on outriding those 🐕 s. 😂😅
That road has always been gravel,it recently got tarred with new bridges.i guess that's why it's still gravel on the GPS.And you got to The Legends, right next to me at the Gables Shopping Complex❤😊
I have so much respect for what you are doing, following a dream like this takes courage (and roads like that take stamina) So glad I can come along for the journey 👍
Hi! Thank you so much! 😁 we are also glad that you are with us on the journey! Those roads where amazing we loved it but some places hard work. Thank you for your kind words, doing this is not always easy and its a hell of a lot of work (all the social media) but we enjoy sharing it with everybody! Especially people like you! 😁👍 lets go on an adventure!
As far I know that is the battle between the Zulu’s and the British, which was fought in a Provence of South Africa that is nowadays KwaZulu-Natal. Great history, but unfortunately we don’t go to the battlefields (we needed to make a surprising change to our plans, but that’s still to come). I think the battlefield is about 300-400km from where we are here in eswatini
Thank you for leaving a comment! Yes we are very happy with both the 890 and the 390, neither of them have given us any problems so far. Both bikes are over 20 000 km now (we bought them second hand with less than 100km for the 390 and around 4000km on the 890). We trust them completely 👍🏻
Hi, the two lav mics we use on the gopros are one RODE and the other a Sennheiser. But they run trough other cables we had made so we can record the cardo chatter on a seperate channel on the gopro. Then we still do a lot of sound designing and mixing in post. Sound has been a challang from day one and it has been a lot of work. We still trying to get it better. Thank you and ride safe!
sorry that it is unclear, I will try to do a basic explanation. We both have Lavalier microphones - also known as lapel mics or clip-on mics, that are mounted in the helmets. The brands are RODE and Sennheiser. You can push the cable from the microphone into the GoPros if you use the extra sound module (media mod) on the GoPros. This way you can record yourself talking straight on the video file. That is the easy way, if you just want to record your own voice on the video file. Because we want to record both the incoming audio from the Cardo from the other person as well as our own voice, we have some other cables that we added so we are able to record our conversations, but I don't think that is important for you. It makes it complicated... We still work on the sound in the editing program we use (DaVinci Resolve), to make it more clear or to take wind noise etc away. I hope this is better, we still want to write an article about the sound, or do a video about it, but thats a work in progress.
@@RoadPirateReno Sfunny, I' ve undersood all the conversations (and banter) very clearly. Must be because of German mic's being used and me living in Germany 😉. Great video guys, I enjoyed the 'days riding' 🤗
