The gravel roads in the south of Namibia used to be very smooth and well maintained when I was last there but they seem to deteriorate year after year due to lack of maintenance
They are very busy scraping all the roads! I think they do it once a year after all the overseas tourists have left. We noticed that you can only really get an idea of the road in front of you by asking the person that just drove it (last couple of days)
Soft sand riding on a heavy adventure bike is not for the feint hearted. Wait for slippery mud / clay roads in Zambia and Tanzania (if you are headed that way) it is a whole new ball game of riding. Safe travels further guys, be safe out there.
Me again, its Just so beautiful....like the concept of the viewer rides with you and experience what you experience to a extend (this can be excellent Imax stuff) . Convinced this channel will still grow very big. Greetings and enjoy a very special country.
