Thanks for sharing and reacting to this great song for me. The instrument they are using is a morin khuur which I believe is a more folksy musical instrument but it does blend well with metal. When I first heard this song it was on repeat in my car for a while. Couldn't get enough of the galloping riff which I seem to be addicted to. Probably why my favorite band is Iron Maiden.

Tengri is Top of the Tops, but u took too long for react, in this days youtube do not give the same relevance for chinese shows! Tan Jing was another fantastic singer that compete with Dimash in the same year, and got a lot 1's and 2's places in her performances.

Miku is the one who impresses me the most in this band. How hard must it be to harmonize such complex patterns around Saiki’s voice while holding the rythm guitar with Kanami.

All these kids are also multi-instrumentalists. You'd see them switch instruments in some of their covers, except for drummer boy Ice (he does play some guitar and bass)....Name a genre and these kids plus their Mom and Pops play it! When the parents play with them, Mom is on lead vocals and Dad is mostly on bass.

Have you checked out their track alone? Awesome harmonies! For me it was alone for the longest time, then Corallium. Recently it's their new song TAMAYA! Listen to that one. It's only audio but you will see how fantastic it is harmony-wise. Saiki-san even called the song twin vocals. :P

In the case of BM, such an approach skips over small pearls such as Corallium, Catharsis, Black Hole, Awkward... where they give themselves more freedom. Great reaction, which should go without saying by now for we Madiacs... you have an impressive musical sensibility that you bring to these reactions that really does the Maid's justice. "What's the genre?" It can be fun to try to pick apart the elements, sure, but the difficulty in how the elements mix and change so fast, you can see why we always say that the genre is Band-Maid. The combinations of the parts and how they arrange them, is pretty damn unique. Vocally, yeah, would it be hyping them up too much to say that they have vocal interactions that are on a level that you don't see outside of, say, Simon and Garfunkel? Indigo girls perhaps? A bit of Alice in Chains? Women in a hard rock band doing this? Pretty much unique from what I've heard.

Listen to the fabulous Burn (from 1974, with another singer and bassist/singer), it will blow your mind!

Three magicians and angels = YOU + Dimash + Hauser. MAGIC.

This venue has sentimental value for them because it's one of the tiny venues where they got their start. They reappeared here as part of their big 10th anniversary tour just as a nod or thank you to the eggman. That's my understanding that someone can correct me if I'm wrong. It's way too tiny for them now though as a general rule. You might have also noticed that nobody screamed or yelled after the performance and that's because this was still at the tail end of covid where they were allowed to clap but not talk or yell loud. And as for lyrics this is easy for me to say because I almost never pay attention to them anyway but it's best with this group to not try to pay attention to the lyrics the first time through because you can see how difficult it already is to pay attention to all that's going on. Think about if you were trying to read lyrics too! A suggestion is to read them ahead of time and you're golden. Most of their official videos if not all of them in recent times have captions
