Band-Maid's older, somewhat overlooked songs are going to be rediscovered for years to come. This will bring a continuous flow of new fans into their fold. Some of these tunes are heavy, hard punk rock adding a new depth of artistry to the Maids many fans didn't know they had. Of course, for Maidiacs, they always knew about these bitchin tunes long ago and still listen to them all the time. Thx, Sohum!
Frank! One of my absolute favorite "oldies" lol yeah I guess Band Maid does have oldies (damn sure in the fan base- another lol ). This is Band Maid just blasting into my consciousness early on from that great "old" album. Well done all!! This is def one of their best driving songs- watch that speed limit!
Some people who have covered their songs say the hardest part might not be the actual playing, but simply trying to remember all the change ups! Very little repeats in most all their songs. And yes, that definitely rewards multiple listens.
Somewhere out there in TH-cam land, there is a video of Band-Maid performing Yuragu live at some small venue. In the video, you can see Miku, Kanami, and Akane singing backup vocals. The audio quality is not the best, but you can definitely hear each of them singing.
Thank you so much, Yuragu is my favorite from Brand New Maid, little trivia, release May 2016,Kanami finally gets one of her composition's recorded (Alone) Miku and Saiki write some lyics,Miku Freedom, the both of them credited for Alone and Yuragu all firsts for the Maid's.
For me..this is Top10 -song from them. Lovin’ those streetrock vibes in it. Criminally underated song IMO. There are few fancamvideos from this played live 🔥❤️
You failed to mention Miku, the beginning of the song was.... Kanami (always right ear), Akane, Miku (always left ear), MISA, Saiki (1st 2 lines of verse), Miku (3rd and 4th line of verse), then both vocalists to finish verse. The older tunes you have a much better chance of dual vocals until Miku gained enough guitar knowledge that Miku became more of a back-up/harmony vocalist. Band Maid lives by the motto... No verse same as the first... it's what keeps their music fresh and no matter how many times you hear it you never get bored of it.
@@frankandre4385 well I guess I should of specified, the parts Miku plays are in the left ear. Kanami does use Miku's guitar to record those parts on the albums. I had asked this question in the past and I was told over the last couple albums, Miku has been recording guitar parts in the studio. Whether that's true or not, I couldn't tell ya.... only been a fan for a couple years.
Lost count on how many times I have listen to this song, and that step down of *MISA* bass get me all the time eventhou I anticipate it in the track.

@@TomClark-Futoura You said "Bitchin" & that describes the older songs perfectly :)
@@GaryHolloway-810 Yeah, it cracks me up with I hear newbee reactors say stuff about their songs like, "Band-Maid has really gotten better."
@@TomClark-Futoura Haha.😆 You've noticed that too then :)
Kanami and Akane used to sing backups to Yuragu at the clubs (and for the recording, too, I believe).
This one is a gem and one of my faves. Different but similar feel to Freezer, another of my early favourites.

theyre 20 over for sure ;)
Gary H and Bryan D dragged it out of me. They said it's not reacted to enough ! 🤯
@@frankandre4385Thabks Frank!!

Right! The memory it must take to perform a BM setlist is mind boggling
@Sohum Most of their shows I have attended were nearly 2 hours, with only Omajinai time as a break!
@@Sohum And Kobato reads no music - she just learns to play all her stuff by ear.
One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite albums. Cheers man.

And crew member tryin’ to murder Kanami during the solo 😅 when moving floor monitor 😅
Forgot how great this song is. Thanks Sohum!

You’re my hero of the day, Frank-San!
Aw,shucks...🔥
If memory serves me, Miku wrote the lyrics for this song, one of her first!

A great choice by Frank. Yuragu is a banger from old school BAND-MAID...& It's Eventide octave harmoniser free.😃
You and Bryan Devito said it doesn't get reacted to enough...That shout out was to the two of you. 😲
@@frankandre4385 Cheers Frank.👍 Apart from this one & K-Ross recently i can't remember the last time anyone reacted to it :)
@@GaryHolloway-810 I reacted to it in my bedroom a couple of months ago. 🫡

I'm glad I've bought their hard copy music. Best rock band on the planet. They can do no wrong in my book.
Love this style and era of their music. Thanks Sohum.
"Yuragu" means "sway".
An appropriate title for the song, imo😏
Short answer, not yet! Get song, again, Po!
I just ordered this album from Amazon. Unfortunately it's not on Apple Music.

This would be true in a concert setting. The album tracks featured Kanami playing both rhythm and lead.

@jeffedwards9180 I'm not sure if the practice continues to this day. How much of Miku do we hear on Epic Narratives ? Good question. 😉
