When I saw this on the Saturn console, I was shaking the console to see if they had put magic ✨ into it. To see Daytona running on it, was incredible. I mean you were literally playing the arcade game in your home. How the hell did they that on a tiny console. The pop up never bothered me as I was too busy playing the game. The gameplay the handling is so good it totally became a instant classic back in 1995. Still plays well, and still looks every bit as good 👍.

Sega Saturn has the most good games of any console ever released. Sadly, most of those did not release in the United States. I still enjoyed it though.

Such a good game, so many memories playing this on my Mega Drive. Got to the last boss a couple times but could never kill that big terminator head thing. Amazing game, graphics, sounds etc

I have been having a difficult time patching this to run on the Fenrir ODE. Anyone have advice?

i would love a remake yes, also isnt it time due to all the sadx and sa2 mods that they are coming with a remake version for those aswel? would love that these games are stil purchasable due to the xbox 360 store not being active anymore

Someone needs to reverse engineer Ps2 Shinobi to the Dreamcast.

It's a shame that this game very bad sold in Japan. Because Dreamcast soon release, all atention went on Dreamcast!

Dreamcast need sega arcade collection sequel series (arcade perfect). Which yuzuki started porting using emulation.

I never imagined as an adult there would be an active development scene for systems I had in the 80s and 90s. Love the work all of these lads are doing.

Before I started this port, I had no idea the Dreamcast could emulate NeoGeo. This is like the perfect home for it :D

Love it. Great video James. Amazing work and hopefully Golden Axe arcade will be coming soon as well. A perfect conversion of a classic Sega arcade game playable on a Sega console. Hoffman and Ian Michael have made Sega fans very happy.

Which Dreamcast game is better? Shadow Gangs or Shinobi?

Game kind of breaks when using the Chainsaw no? Juddery movement when using it, and I can't get the rumble to work as of now. Other than that this is fantastic!

Has anyone tried to get this working on the Neo Geo PSP Emulators?

I've only played Shinobi a little, but man does that soundtrack slap. Hoffman's work looks amazing here! I'd love to see them continue this work for other System 16 games like Infidelity with his NES-to-SNES conversions 👍 Also, maybe the MAME devs can add support for the rom in the next release; they add new/homebrew games all the time

Shinobi is superb and this conversion from Hoffman is sublime. It's a shame that Shinobi never got a Megadrive port back in the day. The WIP Megadrive version looks amazing. You can play Shinobi on the Dreamcast as well with the Neo Geo CD emulator for the Dreamcast courtesy of Ian Michael - Dreamcast Talk forum. This is super sweet playing a Sega arcade classic on OG Sega hardware. Hoffman is seemingly working on Golden Axe for Neo Geo next as you stated which will be amazing as well. It would be awesome if Alien Syndrome could be done as well which was another Sega arcade classic that never got a Megadrive port.

Finally! I've been waiting for a start-to-finish translation for so many years; getting this asap!

I used to rent the Master System version from Blockbuster Video back in the day. Still don't know how they got the game to work on an 8-bit system at all.

Is there a way to fix the Saroo menu being too big? The top and bottom get cut off. I'm playing on a CRT TV if that has anything to do with it?

Brilliant stuff mate. I should be downloading this tonight or tomorrow. Inreally enjoyed my last attempt at playing it thiugh thatvwas untranslated using google translate on ewch text box so even if its still iffy this will help massively. And its such a good game as well!
