Yeah DICE isn't fully committed to collision physics. There are plenty of trees in this game out of bounds that have no collision so you can fly through them safely xD it's dumb

It's definitely my pick when I want a long-range rifle, but want something more spammy than a DMR. Its a top-tier weapon for sure and critically underrated.

@mikeyplayz8438 she's fine. When I'm in a tank, I would prefer a Lissile than an RPG shot, which does much more damage, is way less predictable, and I can not shoot it down. When I'm flying, I can react to a Lissile by dodging because I can hear it or clearly see it if it is coming at me from the front. If I get nailed by a M5 or RPG then again I couldn't do anything about it. Just my feelings though.

Thanks man. I've been having a blast with this weapon, it is so much fun, and nailing these shots is the most satisfying thing ever.

Once you fire it you want to try to keep the missile directly between you and your target the best you can. Kill 3 is the best example of this. Your missile should always be on top of the chopper, and naturally if you keep it there as it travels it will hit and kill the chopper.

@@marzipandan767 I think I have a habit of wanting to point the missile where I think the vehicle/aircraft is gonna be, so I always tend to try to lead it. Your explanation makes perfect sense 👌

I've not tired it yet. Is it really bad? I suppose now it takes 4 shots instead of 3.

@marzipandan767 yeah it takes 4 shots, it's definitely harder than before. It's really hard to get more than 1 kill on a strafe especially on controller

Yeah, lately I'll be posting first on reddit, then editing it into a short. I do this for two reasons: 1. Shorts haven't been doing so well for me, so the attention from reddit is more substantial. 2. If you want your content to be watched on reddit, then it NEEDS to be embedded using the reddit media player, people just don't like clicking YT links.

Krlosmontenegro is correct here, if you hit anything flying other than a Condor or a Hind with an M5 shot, you will 1 shot it.

It takes a lot of practice; I have some experience from my BF4 days which I would always use the SRAW. I used to do them once a month, but I recently became a dad, so I'm trying to figure out that, and hopefully I'll be able to start up again :) Thanks for your kind words!

@DanPyjamas the XM8 is awesome, I would have loved if the Assualt rifle equivalent from BC2 made it over to 2042, but allas, it seems it won't.

@@marzipandan767 I don't know why they chose to make it an LMG for the game tbh. Like COD when they used the Aug as an SMG 🤷

@DanPyjamas there was an LMG XM8 and an Assualt rifle XM8 in BC2 , but they only portal'd over the LMG version :)

@@DanPyjamas honestly, I can't tell, except on the LMGs where a reduction in the spread is quite significant when you are spraying.

@@marzipandan767 Ah thats good to know. I saw a reddit post that tested the grips and found there was little discernable difference compared to not running an underbarrel. May do my own testing on both of these. Thanks. Cool name by the way !

@@marzipandan767 update on this. A lot of people test recoil by shooting at a wall that's not very far away. As with all all angles, a small degree difference at the source translates to a bigger difference, further from the source. I believe these recoil tests people do are flawed for this reason. I tested the 2 grips that could be used both ADS and Stationery. And tested with the champion and Arcon muzzle devices. Although only minor improvements can be seen over let's say 15 metres or so, when you're shooting at 30-50 metres, that improvement is a fair bit better

Nope. Always terrible. You are leaving your successful hit up to whether the opponent has messed up or not. Yeah, they work well against people who haven't unlocked the counter measures, but those aren't the players who are going to be causing you a lot of issues. It's the players who are good with jets and choppers who understand how to use flares who are farming your team. It's just more efficient to get good st a method that is effective against both strong and weak pilots.

I disagree, vehicles are really strong, but need to be used smartly. If you just rush in and get completely enveloped, then you are going to die. If you use them to support infantry, pushing slowly, and keeping an escape route open you can absolutely dominate with them. I think they are currently in a very balanced spot. Re HEAT Rounds: I don't know, I think you should be rewarded for aiming, not just given a kill because you shot roughly in the area. They also shot so much faster than MPAT shells when I made this, that they were actually better than MPAT shells for killing vehicles. Dice has recently balanced this.

@@marzipandan767 well, i really disagree with what you said. Also these smart rockets in attack heli, they are strong. Vehicles really aren't that strong. There's a ton of things people can do against them. Like i said, there's not really a proper balance. And yes, i know what i'm doing

I decided to give this a go as it is a weapon I've never touched (probably due to the fact that it is hidden at the bottom of the SMG list) It's awesome! It feels really effective even at longer ranges. The small clip size initially is pretty rough, but once you get the extended mag it is great! Thanks for the recommendation!

Yep :P I come with a few good ideas. The RPG is my go-to launcher. Well worth the time investment to get good with it :)

AT Mine on the NB was just so clutch, it's probably my favourite. TOW is fun... but is it better than a HMG on the MBT's secondary seat? I'm not convinced.

@@marzipandan767 Considering the output of TOW over HMG, yes. I just don't like feeling helpless if a heli is over top of me.

I think Stinger missiles should be much faster and not have an indicator, but instead a smoke trail. This would make them a little more viable, but still just a deterrent. I agree flares do last very long, too long in fact, which is why lock on weapons just cannot get the job done.

If you use his loadout crate, it is definitely worth it. If you find that you aren't then he isn't. Engineers absolutely love seeing these crates since it means they can keep doing their job without needing to respawn. Drop them frequently. I'm glad I could help, let me know how it goes!

Was it a one hit kill in those games? I seem to recall you needed a headshot with the Barret in BC2, but I don't snipe a lot so I could be wrong. Thanks for commenting.

I mean in times today people who creating games should not underestimate the power of all those weapons. And in all those years they always making the same mistakes. I´m pretty sure that the 50cal back then were not one shot kill, but defenetly had more power in terms of destruction, and left some big holes in metal, and on bodys more then that, thats for sure. The problem today are those speed kids, the CoD kids, who need slide cancel and bunny hopping and jumping from a 10m high building without any broken bones. Those kids are the first who crying when you come around with a overpowered sniper rifle like this. Cause speed gamer doesn´t like to get killed by camping snipers! ^^ ! So they nerf them from the beginning already!
