some things that dont make sense to me: why does MPAT have an HE like function? im assuming since its "multi-purpose" it fulfills both anti-infantry and anti-armor? but then what'd be the point of HEAT? MPAT should just be called APFSDS (which is what every MBT today uses), so it can be the armor only shell that does VERY little against infantry. why does HEAT have a large blast radius? HEAT is meant to go against lightly armored vehicles, why not just have an HE shell thats meant for infantry?

Well, i think the computing power needed for generating voice lines for 64/128 players on live servers would not justify the emmersion. at least for me. Nice idea, but i see other fields A.I. could advance a battlefield.

I didn't realise you worked closely with ML -- we do GenAI / Predictive AI in our household as primary focuses in addition to ML (to be more exact, my wife does. I nod along pretending I understand). For me, the number one use case for these technologies is Anti Cheat. Data driven / intelligent application could very easily discern who is an honest player and who is not. In my world, I would love humans having access to these tools to flag high risk players to focus their reviews & final ban decisions. You get to wipe out one of the scummiest industries out there -- hack developers ruining our peace after work / school / whatever we do. Relying on community reports is such an out dated approach. Broadly to your ending, GenAI & other forms are wiping out jobs in Financial Services at an alarming rate, and we're also seeing clients who are applying it in Legal professions (high profile hallucinations / fails aside, it's all going one way). I fear you may be King Cnut on this one, trying to fight the inevitable tide.

With something like that creator demo I think AI could be used to help people with scripting custom experiences rather than generating maps. I've found it quite useful for learning to use the Portal rules editor. I agree more dynamic callouts would be good. I think Hardline had this to some extent and 2042 added directions and distances to callouts so it could be done without AI. I also wonder if maybe AI could be used to provide contextual gameplay hints to help players learn the game.

the parameter system would be crazy to make, but i think that its something that with access to the full backend of the game can be done with relative ease

that presentation is premade and if you look at the model they made a pattern for its litteraly nothing, there is not even a small list for the vector system they are using, its just stardust

Advice for new players like my-self. Just unlock weapons and attachments by playing bots. Meta is a thing but dont let that dictate how you play. And play with your team and try make friends. Im lucky enough to have played most the other battlefields with the same people.

Step one in becoming good in BF in a jet, either play with a controller on console, or a stick on PC, a mouse keyboard setup won't cut it. You can easily become an ace chopper pilot or transport Osprey, with keyboard/mouse though.

I love playing Rao and NOT using the Stinger because hacking them and sending them running is hilarious and still gives your team a brief respite.

I play as Liz 98% of the time. I play Casper the rest of the time. In TDM it’s a 33.3% split between medic Liz and McKay Liz with C5, AT grenades, AP launcher on the scar and soon the dfr.

In my opinion it’s worth it. Yes the launch was bad. So was bf4. No this is not as good as bf4 or bf3 but it’s still a battlefield game and it’s still a lot of fun especially with a squad. No games give you as much freedom on such a scale at this pace as battlefield. The only battlefield I really can’t stand is hardline. Just pick it up and have fun with it.

none of the BF2042 maps are really good. To much open space, they did some improvement, but it´s still not enough. Let´s see what BF next will deliver

Actually such an underrated game, lots of things to like about it (like the plus system which I passionately hope returns) as well some things I didn't like so much. Overall it's been great but after roughly 1200 hours there isn't much left to challenge me so I've moved on.

Trying this scam shit on gamepass and still remembering why bf 4 is way better compared to this unfinished bot full AF trash
