I used to be all about that MBT life, but as time went on it just became to frustrating. When you're in the tank it feels like the entire enemy team makes blowing you up the objective. Like capping points no longer matters to them, just ending you is the mission, people go on suicide runs to throw C5 at you from left right and center, I felt so useless because I'm constantly falling back behind cover or reversing like a madlad to get away from danger. I just don't use tanks anymore it's just not fun to be harassed by helicopters while your team does absolutely nothing to them.
Lovely game and amazing explanations, thank you very much, enjoyed every second of the video. Much more useful and satisfying to watch than videos of the world most popular BF streamers. Best!
Woooeee that was a lot of great tank shots. I landed my first ever MBT tank shot on a chopper about a week ago… and then my second one in the same game!
Thanks Golden! Once you get a feel for it, you'll actually be hitting them very often! It's always worth going for them... provided it doesn't end up with your demise xD
Good video, it's nice to see sensible vehicle gameplay. I play similarly with a tank where I focus vehicles and I'm constantly checking the minimap to hunt them down. Too often I see high kill tank gameplays on TH-cam and it's almost always someone using HE rounds and farming infantry on breakthrough.
That's exactly the point I was trying to make in the conclusion! So many of these high kill YT videos are just them camping with HE rounds and not actually PTFO. It's a waste of a tank xD I've not confirmed it but I've heard the HE rounds recently got nerfed vs vehicles so they might be getting played less and less.
I think this is the first vid of this kind I've seen you do -- it was great to hear your logic, and it definitely made me think about C1 when vehicle capping. I tend to want to go for it to give my infantry players a foothold to launch for C2. Cracking Nightbird shots, btw -- and the Attack Helis. Yes they teed it up perfectly but you still landed them, never easy. Like Selkie shutting down the YT callout too, never good to taunt :D Random Clip Dump -- I see we're both feeling the same about Outros :D
With the kid arriving I've not had as much time to commit to producing the regular stuff, this seemed like it could be beneficial to people and wasn't too much of a time investment to make. I hope people like it. I have so many good random clips that don't fit anywhere xD It only makes sense to use them somewhere. Thanks for the support Timeless!
@Eric-qx1kx my servers are in the US east, and his are in Asia, we've tried playing together a few times before, and it was always unplayable for one of us. Unfortunately, the BF servers just won't allow it :/
Nice video, the way we drive tanks is quite similar. I've been really enjoying season 7, although it's a shame that it'll be the last season we'll be getting for the game.
Nice! I'm glad to hear! Yeah I agree, its also going to be a long time before we get the next BF game... I'm not sure what I'll get into between iterations. Thanks for the support Henti!
Nice gameplay and analysis! At this point of the game, as an engineer ptfoing, even with the visual nerf, making those pans bigger/higher and considering the lack of thermal sight on the tanks, the AT mines are the best way to take down a tank specially playing ambush style. Requires a little bit of experience to know the tracks but it gives you a high prize for a very low risk. You, as a good tanker mentioned the AT mines from the Bolt but you didn't have to deal with it anytime of the game, people are sleeping on those explosive pans and I'am trying the T1 badge... LOL
Great job, Dan! 🎉👏 Your chopper shots were impressive 💥🚁, and your squad of random players did an awesome job 👍👌. I love playing as a repairman 🔧 and a commander 🎖
Thanks for the support Aberbear. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was especially surprised at the player willing to be on the commander seat the whole game. That almost never happens!
It's about knowing when to push, when to clear out and when to retreat. For example when I'm pushing A here, you see me go wide around the point because if I push directly in, I'll likely be completely surrounded. I clear the point and move in slowly. When I start to get too much heat, I pull out to cover to try to recover. C5 is still your biggest threat, so getting too close is risky. Too many people focused on C5, and now people are just now picking up the launchers, so they are still not amazing with them.
Whenever I ride a tank I feel like i’m in fury. There was time where I happened to have a god send tank crew that was both competent and tactical. It was a tank crew that happens only every 600 years.
I was very surprised I got it. It was absolutely beautiful xD There does seems to be a lot of the AOD guys around lately. I don't mind them most of the time.
@marzipandan767 What region do you play in? Just curious. Yeah I have no problem with them, but there's a few that I recall just absolutely dominating games I'm in, and I guess it's a bit of vicarious turnabout 😄
Lovely work, great team play, this is what battlefield is supposed to be, hopefully they don't let us down with the next one. I like 2042 now, just like I did with bf5 when they dropped it so I'm waiting on the next one for them to fix it and sell it cheaper lol. Still enjoying 2042 just gutted that they aren't adding more to it
I think it's been a feature in BF games for a while. Personally, I like the idea of you having to repair vehicles yourself as an engineer or as you did in BF1 where repairing made it so you couldn't do anything during the repair.

Great video. Your voice is very relaxing and ur gameplay is super nuanced!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was something a little different, so I appreciate your feedback :)

A very nice video! I wouldn't mind more of this type of content.
Thanks so much for the feedback Gangsta Goose! As always, I appreciate your support!
Great job MD! Had I been the tank driver, I would have been killed 10 times and had zero helicopter kills. I rarely last long in a tank.
