In my AU, Sonic and Amy are adults, Tails is a teen, and Cream, the youngest Sonic Character, is a Tween at max. Or maybe she's down syndrome representation, I dunno.

Before watching, the only large scale set in stone evidence of time passing that I can think of is Little Planet, which is supposed to only come round once a year. Sonic Year... 1? Sonic 1 Sonic CD Etc. Sonic Year 2 Sonic Mania Sonic Year 3 Sonic 4 So at least 3 years have past since Sonic 1. 4 or 5 if you count the 6 Month War in Forces and the Seasonal Comic Issues. However I have a theory. With the revelation in Frontiers that the Chaos Emeralds come from space while the Master Emerald has always been earthbound, Chaos seems to be a universal thing, not just Earth. I wouldn't use the term Chaos Force(cause Ken Penders), but I do think there's something similar, but more akin to the Weirdness Factor in Gravity Falls, explaining every oddity in the Sonic series. Floating Platforms? Chaos Force/Factor. Loops on Highways? Chaos Factor/Force. Characters not aging? Chaos Factorce, I think? Wouldn't they notice the calendar being weird? Whatever, point is, I'm applying the UNIT Dating Controversy from Doctor Who to Sonic.

Sonic Mania didn't need a Mobile port, we already have it on consoles, PC's and ofc on the Switch, also it's weird to see that it's locked behind a paywall

Looking back at Sonic GX I can certainly agree that the writing was terrible, the dialog needed proof reading, the animations and editing to the sprites needed to be more consistent and better put together. BUT I'am going to say the idea of bringing together characters from the sonic TV shows and having a united universe like what this series tried to do is a neat idea. If it had more time to cook it could have been something really great and be remembered in a more positive light. Also I don't see the issue with shipping sonic and sally, even if it is an out of date ship and sonic fans are forcing others to stop liking it for said reason. Let's be honest here if you're an american that grew up with sonic in the 90's you know that the most well known female character of that series was sally acorn, even if she was exclusive to TV and comics. Nobody in the 90's knew anything about amy rose nor played the game she debuted in due to requiring the CD add on for the genesis that nobody bought. Amy didn't become important until the sonic adventure games. Only during the 2000's to now did people start actually giving a damn about amy and certain started claiming they were always a fan for this character. The only people who probably already knew about amy since 93 were the japanese, and yet they're the country that doesn't give a damn about sonic at all. So much so that when japanese saturn owners got the christmas nights demo disc and saw sonic in the game via the one mini game, they were all like, to quote jontron, "what the fuck is a sonic?" Why? because nobody in japan owned a genesis/megadrive and didn't bother playing the sonic games until they were reintroduced on the saturn (which is why sonic jam existed to begin with). History lesson aside I don't mind sonic being paired with amy or sally, it don't matter. If sonic has good interacts with either one of them then there is no reason for these pity little civil wars. What I don't agree with is going through with a ship for the sake of attacking the other by making the opposing character an unlikable brat (even though amy's portrayal in GX is accurate to her character in sonic x since amy was written as a simping yandere who cared little about everyone else around her. All she wanted was to be alone with sonic all the damn time even if it meant forcing him to be with her when he doesn't want to) or rewriting a character's preference on who they romanticize over just so the other ship can be the official ship moving forward. (don't care if the archie world got rebooted after the crossover with megaman, you don't just change a character's preference just to making one pairing possibly/seemingly official, that's just a dick move.)

I think the gacha system is fine , they just need to make the pity system to balance, Gacha is fun to do , its excited and fun, and cause its gacha content some company will always make the product better and more high quality cause its need gamble to get it , so i think its fine And sonic dream for apple only is little bit far, i think they should make a Apple and Next gen console only, you can play it on Console if you had the apple arcade and Ps plus, and once you brought it in the console you can play it forever no need to buy the arcade, for 29.99 will be the best i think, and they can also do dlc pack or story pack for it, like you can use Shadow or metal sonic The price is fine, if money can make a better sonic game back like unleashed and generations or adventure series i will definitely pay for it

With Amy being 8 in CD, but 12 in Heroes that means that Sonic starts his adventures at age 11. By the Adventure games, he seems a bit shorter than he does in games like '06 and Unleashed, so by the Adventure games and Advance 1 and 2, Sonic is 13-14 and then by Heroes, he's 15, until Generations, he's 16. By Forces, he could still be 16 at the start but by the end of the game, definitely 17 and with the IDW comics being confirmed as canon, he's likely to still be 17 assuming ue turned that age recently which I would say is true because of Forces only covering 7 months. We also know from Sonic the IDW issue 4 takes place 1 month after Forces because the war lasts 6 months and when Blaze arrives, Sonic says, "No offense, but you're about 7 months late. Eggman locked me up and took over the world. S'cool, my friends bailed me out and we kicked his butt." So that means he would've turned 17 fairly recently, and the Metal Virus saga actually only takes place over the course of a few week. Now let me simplify things. (Also, we don't know what year the games take place in, so I'm just going under the assumption that Sonic is born in 1991 because of the first game's release date, but this doesn't apply to anyone else because otherwise it makes no sense). June 23rd 2002 would be the first game. June 23rd 2007 would be Sonic Generations, about 5-6 months later, Forces starts and that game takes place over the course of 7 months, including Episode Shadow. I say it's about 6 months after Gens because this would take lots of time and planning to start a full scale war and do research on the Phantom Ruby. Lost World does not need a lot of time for it to take place, so that's about a month after Gens. So by January 2008, Forces starts and by August 2008, it ends. September 2008, IDW starts and the Metal Virus saga takes place over the course of a couple weeks. Issue 15 introduces it to main characters, Issue 16 happens the following day and the day after that happens issues 17 - 20 and the following day has issues 21 - 23 happen within an hour and issue 24 by the end of that day. Issues 25 - 29 then happen within a couple days and the Metal Virus is resolved by Issue 30. So actually looking at that, it's about a week really, maybe a little more if there's more time between 15 and 16 but we know that issues 21 - 23 happen in the same hour, that's a fact and possibly 17 happens the day before 18, but 19 and 20 happen the same day as 18 for a fact, so at most, it was about 10 or 11 days. I haven't read too much of IDW afterwards but I know a fair amount (Surge and Kit, their fight with Whisper, Starline's demise, Clutch, Belle, etc). Sonic's probably still 17 by Frontiers, and if he was 13 by Adventure 1, his line in Frontiers makes a lot more sense. The line in question is when he talks to Knuckles and asks if the visions they saw are anything like the visions Tikal showed them "way back when" implying a few years. So the whole crew have been going on adventures for about 6 years now and currently in the timeline, it's likely to be around early to mid 2009 (around January to April) where Sonic would be 18 years old by next game.
