That also explains Bad Future Stardust Speedway for Metal Sonic's battle, it's there BECAUSE Sonic prevented the bad future through time travel, thus erasing it from the timeline.

OH my god we have the same EXACT experience playing sonic gens for the first time. I played that damn game at 20fps for 30 hours on a crappy hp laptop. It was miserable but I did it lmao. Now I finally played it again after all those years and having a great time haha.

Sonic Adventure: Dreams Edition is also pretty solid. It's very Unleashed inspired with small hub worlds and collectible medals needed to unlock the action stages, but half of those stages give you a more Adventure based moveset with the spindash instead. And you can also switch between the two control styles in the overworld hubs. I think most of the level design is original, but there's an almost 1:1 City Escape remake thrown in the middle so maybe I'm just forgetting some source material.

I don't agree with what you said about the Amy changes. Yeah its pointless but its nothing to get mad about. Amy punching Knuckles wasn't even funny to me. Its just a change. I don't see why some people are mad at it. People complained that Amy was just a fangirl for Sonic but now they complain that she's not? I also liked the re-writes. Again its pointless but harmless and does fix a few minor things And I liked Shadow 05 and wish a level from it was in this game. I think you were just joking but saying "its a bad game" is not a reason to not put one in. Sonic 06 is still here so why couldn't Shadow 05?

Sonic Generations and Sonic Adventure 2 are comfort food, but Shadow Generations is like the exact opposite. It's tense, exciting and it's an amazing return to form.
