This is purely my opinion but since I started riding scooters about 5 years ago and playing around with different cc engines, I think that no less than a 150cc for inner city (like Chicago) or a minimum of 250cc for the open road Interstate highways. I also know my 240lb fat butt is like hauling around an anchor on a 50cc scoot. Would be much better for a lighter rider say a person less than 150lb on a 50cc scoot.

Who does these awful ads. They are terrible. Who is their customer base? This to me seems to be a decent midweight bike. Beginner bike? I don't know, certainly a lighter urban style bike. I like midweight bikes. Easy to maneuver in congested environments. But all that loud exhaust and stupid biker attire is so over used. If your going in this direction get a d.c.t. tranny.

My opinion people let these go way too cheap there very reliable same gy6 motors I got mine for 700 with 70 miles on it needless to say it’s now got a few hundred miles on it I just bought my 100cc Bolt-on kit for it already put in the cvt kit next is carb and exhaust then complete customization lower it stretch it out a smidge and a nice little turbski Easily a 3500$ scooter when done

you skip the red light at some point in the video thats a fine young man, if there were any police patrolling you'd end up paying a fine

Yep. Sold my cbr600 f3 after riding for 2 months before having to move and it was insane. So much power under you it feels actually it is a drug. Also ride a Yamaha 1000 and gotta say it has the cbr 600 smoked in power and speed just because it’s a 1000

50cc scooters are a thing of the past they do not belong on our rosdwsyc todsy now I will tell you why they are too slow it takes too long to get up to speed they are not quick enough to get out of the way drivers hate scooters they sware at you through things at you why the drivers of today are always in a hurry you are too slow you are in there way and you can not ride on the sidewalk to get out of the way you end up riding on the side of the road beacase you can not keep up so you ride in all that road crap flat tire her good chance of that all of these things have happened to me and my friends when we had a 50cc scooter now most of you a cheap people so you go online and buy that cheap shinny 50 or 150 cc scooter looks good doesn't it well from the outside but inside they use the cheapest of parts so this brings me to the next statement bike shops will will not will not work on online scooters so they like anything else need maintenance and prepare it is great you can do that or maybe a friend or maybe not so you are like screwed buy from a dealer of coarse not you are to cheap to do that you want it all for very little money so my friends and I learned our lessons the hard way about 50cc Chinese scooters and passing our knowledge along to you but of coarse as we did to you do not want to listen fine we all bought 150 cc scooters name brand kymco is pretty good cand be serviced and we bought it local we all took the test and got our M lience we have a lot of fun we are in the flow of traffic no more in the gutter with crazy driver passing us througing stuff and yelling at us calling us idiots because we were. if you do not have the money to buy a good bike do not get one and if it can not be in the roadway all the time do not buy that underpowered scooter I have given you facts here if you know better than maybe we will wave at you as we drive buy riding on the side of the road in all that roadway SHIT buy smart ride safe my friend

Agree, sprocket change is the best performance mod. Just increase the rev limiter to 13k to get back the small loss in top speed. Exhaust is a very minor performance change but sounds so good. Do the air box mod and KN filter. big sound change!!

I had the Srad 750 same time as a Srad 600 & always preferred the 600 for fun element. Then I bought an R6 & now I live in another dimension.

Started on a 2009 Ninja 250r, but got bored after 4000km and 1.5 months, so I bought a GSX-R750 instead. Learned a LOT on the 250 and it was super fun.

Buy a 2011 L1 onwards for the best model. Suzuki stopped development after this year. I have one and I love it.

My 1st bike was an 01 750, bought it for $600 with a knock in the motor, learned throttle control and then flipped it for double what I paid. I got an 08 ninja 500r for $1400 and put double that to get her right, I'm getting an 97 gsxr600 and love it. From experience start small and when you get better move up

Buy a steering damper before you learn about speed wobbles the hard way! BTW, the GSX-R750 comes with one.
