Honestly man, as a fellow colorado rider with a KTM 390, and 81' kz550, also having ridden mostly naked bikes on our highways- past 70mph you just gotta stay loose on the bars like you mentioned. Our roads have a lot of ruts, bumps, and grooves. Paired with the gnarly winds, i've always experienced this slight feeling of instability in the front end regardless of the suspension or tires I run. Eventually the uneasiness fades a bit and it's second nature to just throttle out of it. Thanks for the vid dude.
Just got a duke 390 as my first bike last weekend. not poppin dank nooners just yet. Glad to know I have a bike that easily can get the front wheel up. Bike is a blast to ride around on and sounds great. Great Video!
@@juanfelipe8484 Incredible first bike. I have put over 3,000 Miles on it so far. Good power delivery and can cruise on the highway. I did a oil change since the previous owner didn't. Highly recommend and will try my hardest to keep forever.

I find this wholesome. His wheelies in the beginning were not good but the joy he has once he starts to get it is awesome. I was the same way on my Honda trx250x when I was 12. My wheelies sucked but I didn’t care.
Hey Chris! Finally got my wheelies down after owning 8 different bikes. Surprisingly enough my 2013 R1 is the bike that I learned to balance properly. Had em kind of decent on my 2015 RC390 but def sketch since I didn’t understand rear brake.
Bro I believe the 2024 they fixed a lot things,which is the model I'm getting very soon,also KTM has it in a sexy Atlantic blue,has a different headlight shroud too when you turn the key before initial startup,if you unlock quick shifter,you don't need to touch the clutch from my understanding an also,you can turn rear abs off for drifting, better rider modes now as well,more horsepower at 43 horsepower,bigger air box is why mono shocks is on the right side of the bike,I was getting a 2023 an then bang the release the new 2024 model an I was like dang,I want it,also the reduced unsprung weight in the front of the bike an in the rims as well,so popping wheelies is even easier to do if want to do hooligan stuff,it is a bit more money but for everything your getting an also first baby duke to have adjustable front suspension on the go like it's bigger brothers 1290 an 1390 an 990 dukes
Great first bike don't get a 600 for your first get a 390 it's nimble light great brakes throttle is touchy 👍 great for wheelies.i just bought myself one for Xmas
Bro,go with the 2024,more rider modes, better looking headlights in my opinion,it does have quick shifter but you have to pay to unlock it,also rain an traction control,launch control,you can turn rear abs off for hooligan stuff an drifting,also it comes in Atlantic blue with orange rims or the other is electric orange color,it also has adjustable front suspension on the go like the bigger dukes,so they've really tuned up the new 2024 duke,also has a bigger air box,just saying in my opinion the new one is worth waiting saving up for,I'm getting one myself in a month or so.
I seen not to long ago some guy said to bring the bike up higher don’t use your arms and bend them and pull the bike with them. Make your arms more straight and use your body.
Try giving it a bit more gas in while clutching in, you'll get longer wheelies and don't worry, you won't fall back... Those new dukes recognise the angle of the bike so it doesn't let u give more gas if u pass certain angle ;)

Remember few dealerships and most importantly few service centers , hope you got a truck to haul it many miles to be worked on .

I have same bike. I've noticed I can get front tire up in second easy when I first get on, but after it's warmed up super hard. What am I doing wrong?

390, the r3 is an old a2 bike, u wont get the same power with that v2 321(if im not wrong)cc
not old but the motor is outdated and do not come near the 35kw wich u can ride with an a2 license
