@@hakim8476 I wouldn't say high speed. Of course he could have gone slower. But from the footage it looks normal. Personally I wouldn't have been out with any visible sign of snow/ice. But that's just me.

bro i literally have a the same r3 and spilled it the same way, same damage on the same side too, parts costed me $125 and a few months wait. just installed everything yesterday and the bike looks brand new. I know the feeling I was so pist but everything is fixable, keep your head up brother [+]
bro... I've been keeping my bike in my garage for like 2 weeks now just waiting for the right weather. The roads here in CO are so unforgiving. Loaded with potholes right now. Looks like you hit that patch of water, could have had some black ice in those cracks. Dropping a bike is never fun and sucks bro... Sorry to see this happen to you. When life gives you lemons squeeze the shit out of them and make some seriously good lemonade!
I literally just bought that same R3 same color and same year, and its been amazing so far (Im a new rider) and seeing this hurts my heart man cause before I bought my R3 (And the reason why I bought it) I rode and still do sometimes a 1981 Honda CB900c and that bike has been with my family for a long time and is a classic (I took it out of the garage and fixed myself) and I've slid on it twice and it hurts bro all that work looking for parts man for me just to slide it and dropping it twice and since it is my first bike it hurt even more. So seeing this when you're about to sell it and they stood you up pains me but there will always be an upside and a lesson to be learned. I already fixed my 81 but I'm sadly still too new to riding for it. That being said hopefully you'll get it fixed or make a good deal of it.
after reading all these comments after dropping my r3 a few hours ago i feel better now. the r3 is my dream bike. it sucks that i dropped it at literally 10 mph for some reason. sucks but gotta move on

Could shifting the gear down to 2 before the turn have helped? I'm a beginner... I was just curious. Or was it purely the tire/gravel/or possibly some ice on the ground?
Honestly it looks like it’s most likely a slippery/slightly wet surface. I’m a somewhat newer rider as well and I don’t ever shift down into a turn at a higher speed. Just let the engine braking take care of it. Of course if you have a slipper clutch, you don’t have to worry about your rear tire locking up, but it’s just always on my mind. If you want to shift down in higher rpm’s, rev match it by blipping the throttle a tiny bit. Hope this helps!
R3/(R25 in my area) doesn't have slipper clutch and quick shifter as factory standard..nor ABS.the rear tire will lock-up/slide/drift if improper down shifting is carried out.the bike also have other major weakness:tank slap after taking a jump at high speed.upon landing the handle bar goes wild (no steering damper fitted as standards) leading to accident.i just glad he sold the bike for the better deal.yes i use One almost daily and this bike is not for the begginner.. eventhough it only got 45/35hp

What are you talking about? Any bike would have lowsided at that speed. Dingus was going too fast, got spooked and rode over the wet part of the road. Not the bikes fault in the slightest.
