I never thought I would want one. Sat on a 2018 gsxr600 and 750 and I fell immediately in love. I currently ride a cbr500 and I'm more than positive this is going to be my next bike.
Its a great bike and the 2014 model has 125bhp & a bit more torque. I have the near identical 750 which is a smooth hooligan in 105bhp B mode on minor roads and a maniac on the highway at 148bhp A mode. BUT I tested some 600s and they are brilliant too. Only bought the 750 because a barely used 2017 plate in black and yellow was available for not much more cash than a good 600. Its so satisfying to own a superb piece of engineering that enables, and rewards good riding. On a GSXR when things don't feel quite right, its you, NOT the bike :-)
I have a 2015 GSXR 600. I absolutely love it. I love the looks but above all I love the feeling of it. I do want the GSXR 1000R but I enjoy every min of the 600. I like the livery and also love how it just gets up and goes
You know just a thought... you have great potential as a motto vlogger and I enjoy your content. Maybe after you get to a comfortable place financially you know for the needs of your new family (congrats again) Maybe get another 2019 R3 (as it is a staple to your channel) and turn it into a track bike and start a beginner track day series....

I remember my gixxer.. 😢 So cofortable, agile and fun. One of my last runs with her was a 700 mile day throught the twisted sisters in Texas. Left at 4 a.m.and got home at 1 a.m. the next morning. No pain and sooo much fun. Everyone talks about a Harley. Had one of those too. Nope. Im a gixxer dude all day. I ride it more than I drive my vette. The perfect bike.

The cbr is considered the most comfortable one and still after a long ride it messes your lower back and knees if you're around 1.80cm, I know because I own one. supersports are not comfortable at all but they worth it because they're the most entertaining kind of bike you can ride.

My 1st bike was an 01 750, bought it for $600 with a knock in the motor, learned throttle control and then flipped it for double what I paid. I got an 08 ninja 500r for $1400 and put double that to get her right, I'm getting an 97 gsxr600 and love it. From experience start small and when you get better move up

father only drove suzuki bikes (pineapple was the 1986 rg500 2stroke superbike monster) and i will continue this legacy. own a 600 k7 and absolutely love it.
For $1300 get the 750. Big difference for a small price. You know how much work it takes to make the 600 as fast as a stock 750? No sprocket changes allowed as to gain in one area means to lose in another with that modification. Do the same sprocket with the 750 and see what happens. You will embarrass the 1000 cc bikes. Oh…I have 54 year old bones with athletic injuries and love my 2022 GSXR 750. My braided steel brake line were cheap and doubled my braking power. I’m only 175 lbs. I have a full M4 exhaust and the ecu was sent to Chris Moore/Moore Mafia. Performance brake and clutch levers next. Maybe ceramic wheel bearings and that’s all I could see myself doing to it. I blacked out the bike, so it looks really cool…to me. Save money on tires over the 1000 cuz on the street I am basically as fast as anyone. PS. Good luck keeping the front tire on the ground in first gear. I cannot dump the clutch and give it 100 in first gear. Too scary. I’m not a pro, just a decent street rider.

So I started on a cruiser a Suzuki C50T and then I wanted to get something faster and I ended up snagging a Honda F2 '93 for like $1,800 bucks rolled that around for about a month and traded that for a 2006 CBR1000RR thinking that I'm going to love it and honestly that thing scares the crap out of me. It's almost too much power for me so I want to bump down back to a 600 and I think I'm going to go Suzuki this time. My Honda's needed quite a bit of work.
Actually the top speed on this bike is 175 mph or 280 kmh, after that it slows down on the pulling its hard to get it above that. I know cuz i have done it often.
friend I have the same motorcycle in 750 of the year 2007 very well cared for with Scorpion red power muffler it runs very well it is a fast and agile motorcycle
I’ve been a CBR fan for along time, aside from just being loyal to Honda I’m thinking I may switch to the GSXR 600. I’m not looking to go 160 mph, already done that. I want something fun but which makes is most comfortable....
A run in GSXR600 in top condition can maintain 160mph pinned, but 130ish safer as it's well within the bikes capability. Also stopping distance at 160 is a looong way, even on a superbike.

Learning the fundamentals of motorcycle riding is easier on a lighter, smaller displacement motorcycle than it is on a super sport. I've used B mode on my bike once and that was because it was raining. Yes, B mode tones down the power but not the speed (I can still do 80mph in first gear).

@@JkennGG You'd have to check with your insurance company but I don't think so. My 750 was a 2013 & my 600 is a 2016 so I think insurance cost were about the same. You would see a big difference between a 600 & 1,000 bike.

Gixxers are nice I owned the 03 1000 myself. Next year I’m gonna get a brand new Zx6r. It’s the best bang for your buck. More upgraded then a gixxer plus there’s already too many gixxers out there. I like the tail end on them but I don’t like the front end with that single headlight. But yea if your on a budget a gixxer 6er is the way to go. They are comfy

A girl rider here. R1 rider … I also have a gixxer 600 and I’ve ridden r6 and the power of the gixxer 600 is nothing compared to yami… gixxer isn’t fast. And Even in A mode it isn’t powerful. More comfortable though
This year is my first season. I got myself 2004 gsxr 600. Awesome bike. 40k/km on clock and still blasting. I recommend for beginners(like me) . If your idiot you should not ride any kind of bike😏 stay safe!
I so badly wanted to upgrade to a GSX-R 600 initially, but I think I'm slowly just becoming a Honda fanboy and now I just want to stick with Honda and ho up to the 600RR. Also, you passed on a double yellow my guy 😆

Do you have to put it in neutral at a stop? I know u can hold the clutch in first but I dont rly see people doing that. Does that wear out the clutch? P.S. dont have a bike and am trying to learn everything lol
You should do a 5 reasons you should buy a Suzuki gsx600f I'm part of the gsx family she might not be a gsxr but she fits in and has awesome power I've had several Sports Bikes and other street bikes and still do just prefer to ride the gsx600f
I bought a 2013 gsxr600 that has some modifications but not sure what. It’ll do 299kmh (186mph) 12k rpm in 6th. Could this be done with just an exhaust and tune or was there serious engine work done?
man that thing sounds so beautiful! I had a 2006 SV650 for a year and a half. I had to sell it to pay a thicc vet bill recently💔 hoping next riding season during the winter I can cop a GSX-R 600 and move on to the next level and experience that gsxr life as well💪

You would probably really enjoy the 1999 cbr600f4 it’s very very similar to a gsxr feel wise but has lots of bottom end torque

U should try the updated version from 2011. 11kilos lighter, better powerband, everything is better. I’ve ridden both and own a 2012 600

Buy a 2011 L1 onwards for the best model. Suzuki stopped development after this year. I have one and I love it.

I’ve gotten an 07 gsxr 600 to read 176 and i think it still had more to go, i know it was reading fast but only by a few mph

i have an 04 gsxr 600. after 45 mins my back is killed. but great bike. i dont think anyone over 30 can do hours on a gix.

A girl rider here. R1 rider … I also have a gixxer 600 and I’ve ridden r6 and the power of the gixxer 600 is nothing compared to yami… gixxer isn’t fast. And Even in A mode it isn’t powerful. More comfortable though
This year is my first season. I got myself 2004 gsxr 600. Awesome bike. 40k/km on clock and still blasting. I recommend for beginners(like me) . If your idiot you should not ride any kind of bike😏 stay safe!

You should definitely ride then before your buy! Both fantastic bikes! Also I know the road it was a straight 👍 wouldn't have passed if I didn't think it was safe.

Do you have to put it in neutral at a stop? I know u can hold the clutch in first but I dont rly see people doing that. Does that wear out the clutch? P.S. dont have a bike and am trying to learn everything lol
No you should leave it in first and clutch in, in case you have to quickly move to avoid being rear ended
You should do a 5 reasons you should buy a Suzuki gsx600f I'm part of the gsx family she might not be a gsxr but she fits in and has awesome power I've had several Sports Bikes and other street bikes and still do just prefer to ride the gsx600f
I bought a 2013 gsxr600 that has some modifications but not sure what. It’ll do 299kmh (186mph) 12k rpm in 6th. Could this be done with just an exhaust and tune or was there serious engine work done?

man that thing sounds so beautiful! I had a 2006 SV650 for a year and a half. I had to sell it to pay a thicc vet bill recently💔 hoping next riding season during the winter I can cop a GSX-R 600 and move on to the next level and experience that gsxr life as well💪
Could of paid 5 dollars a month on that bill and still kept the bike.

Definitely still recommend starting on an R3. It will make riding a 600 less scary and more fun
Moto Chris I started on a ninja 250, copped an r3 about two months ago and now I’m hella wanting a 600! I can’t wait to upgrade. Starting on a small bike taught me so so much! And I get the pleasure of upgrading :D ride safe my dudes
I started on a 500 and regret it. I should’ve jumped straight on a 600 but that’s just me cuz I had already ridden my brother in laws 600.

U gotta try TVS Apache RR 310, buddy. For a 300cc bike.. it has got features more then a 600cc(except for the power ;p)
