Fat Tiger breaks down everything and I like his style as he explains the inner details. Again, I like to emphasize that he also does not brag or give himself airs and acts like he is so important. It’s like he sits down with you and tells you the stories with such a nice mild manner and these stories are fascinating! Thank you, Fat Tiger! Looking forward to more stories from you!

They didn't really protect the community. They were just looking after themselves. Most of the time they tried to mug you if you were by yourself.

Great interview! I concur with Fat Tiger- not all sit downs are organized as the media and police portrays. Maybe the Italian Mafia, but not in C-town. Asian culture is different. It’s like hanging out with a group of friends and talking. Lol! As you can tell Pell St. was one boring block at that time. Needed to migrate to another section of Chinatown. Not surprised! That’s what makes Chinese Americans gangs known for; when it comes to doing a job, they just make it happen and move on. Again, not as glorified as the media and police portrays.

I've heard Grasshopper trained fanatiically in gung fu. Maybe this is proof gung fu can be real depending on how and what you train for.

I remembered Betty candy store when I was a kid. That store I used to buy baseball magazine and comic books. Also had a large selection of porn magazines. I remembered the store was burned down and reopened and not too long after that it closed down. Do you have any stores about the stores also across the street Wah Kue toy store m. I used to go there often do you have any stories about them.
