Friends of the Cancer Centre, based at the heart of the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hsopital, is one of the leading charities in Northern Ireland working to support local cancer patients and their families.

Every year, Friends of the Cancer Centre funds life -changing projects and life -saving research which supports cancer patients and their families across Northern Ireland. The charity focuses on three key areas: patient comfort and care, clinical care and research

The charity relies entirely on donations and the support of thousands of generous people across Northern Ireland who run marathons, climb mountains, skydive, abseil, shave their heads, bake cakes and much, much more, all to help raise money to support local people affected by cancer.
