  • September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month and we caught up with Peter Robertson to highlight the impact a blood cancer diagnosis can have on a person's life.
Peter was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and he is currently being cared for by the team at the Northern Ireland Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital. Peter is keen to share his story to not only raise awareness of blood cancer, but also to help others living with blood cancer by highlighting a range of resources and support available.
Further information on blood cancer and support available for those diagnosed with blood cancer can be found at www.bloodcancer.org.uk and www.macmillan.org.uk.
