    Joy, I have been practicing yoga for 25 years. I was concerned if I can do yoga... Doubtful.. Now I am at peace. Its two weeks and three day I had a open cut surgery to remove ovarian cyst... can I follow this vedio..

    Thank you Joy for this wonderful practice. I'm 10 weeks (almost 11) post liver surgery and have been following your week wise post abdominal surgery series. I've been feeling much stronger now so I decided to try something a bit more challenging. This is the first time I added this gentle hatha yoga and it felt amazing to be back to the flow!     I’m so happy to have found your TH-cam. This series has helped me during recovery from stage 4 endometriosis excision surgery. It’s been a rough recovery from the hysterectomy, appendectomy, bowel resection and excision of endo but these gentle but meaningful movements have helped so much.

    I really want to thank you for this series Joy! Yoga has been a massive part of my mental and physical health hygiene for years. I had an open myomectomy three weeks ago and I love that I have been able to keep yoga as a part of my routine since I got home from the hospital. It hasn't been easy getting used to new limitations and it's scary to try moving with damaged abdominal muscles, but your sessions encourage us to incorporate some movement safely by listening to our bodies, and I'm sure they have helped accelerate my recovery. I'll be doing the full series for sure!

    Hi Joy, This series looks fantastic! So nice to see something so focused in an area I’ve struggled to find information on. I noticed that it is for many abdominal areas, do you believe it would be useful for recovery post liver transplant? Not really an abdominal surgery but a large amount of abdominal trama to access the liver. I’m really struggling to find things that don’t include twisting, or using my abdominal.

    I had a breast reduction and reconstructive surgery on both involving a lift and I've been wanting to kind of work out and do some small exercises so that i can slowly get into shape and build some core strength up. My doctor recommended nothing crazy because I'm only 2 weeks out now so I've always wanted to try yoga and here we are! I'm only 17 years old but the surgery has been a massive improvement in my confidence and health as well. I hope to do this practice maybe once a week or when I feel like it. Yes it stretched a few things, but in a good way, I've felt so tense lately and have been wanting to stretch but too scared to put too much pressure so I really appreciate you showing simple exercises that can benefit! Thank you so much!
