I'll make 3 set metal blades for you
Do you have spare medallion of Usha Kohinoor Super Deluxe
Wow wow better than some so called Industrial fans
Very true brother! GEC is the best fan Company in this whole planet!
This fan is just something different.. is the rpm more than that almonard.
@neil.v3235 Sorry for late reply. And yes this fan is actually slower than almonard. Almonard is 4pole 1400rpm. Whereas this gec is 6pole 900 rpm.
Mechanically sorted. Just give it a makeover it deserves.
Impressive torque and rpm. Only the frame looks a bit bashed up.
Great fan. You've got a good space to do your repairs and stuff..
Here is the exhaust fan size exhaust fan sizes 17

How to remove the stupid irritating grease from my High breeze’s motor.

Yup!

Crazy how this style of exhaust fan blades has not changed in half a century. In HK (where I live), this style is still sold under Windy and Wing Ton
True that! These are one of the oldest exhaust fan blade designs. It started way back in the late 20s... was brought up by GEC. And yeah I've seen videos of the windy etc. I hope its Windy Rita.. and another brand named CKE.
Man this is really a powerful & awesome exhaust fan. Its a legend. GEC industrial equipments. Try to make a proper guards & pedestal so that u could use the fan like a farrata pedestal fan.
Thanks A Lot bro!😊 Hope you enjoyed the video! I may suggest you to get a gec exhaust, its very good, you can use it all day long! no matter if its 50 to 60yrs old. And thank you for the tip!
Hi 100d
@@saatvikjacob5754 Currently 100d got 100 bashings from me 😉😂😂.
Nice
Thank you bro!
Cover the fan, someone can get hurt
Yeah. Will try making a new frame
Superb desert coolers based on an untra powerful heavy duty exhaust!!
Haha yes!
It's Going 960 rpms. Is there the same version of this fan that goes 1400 rpm?
Yes. The 1970s model has 4 pole varient. Mine is late 60s. And secondly 60s time, every 18inch exhaust fans where low speed.
@@ANTIQUEFANWORLD Please make video of the 1970s version.
@@ShashankArv I already made a video of late 70s - 80s gec 12inch. But that's no more with me. Condition wasn't good. Was badly damaged by water. Now scrapped and got a better one.
Even better than Almonard.
Yes!
Nice
Thank you bro!
Why exhaust fan is running in room with ac ?
Just to remove hot air which usually rise, After 5 - 10min, will turn it off.
I have a Crompton Greaves high flow pedestal fan , got it in 2006 , it works quite well to this day but the oscillator seems to be jammed so it doesn't oscillate . Otherwise does good :)
Ohh. Even this SDX have damaged gear box because the gear tooth is worn out.
you should restore it. It will look better. and Are the canopies in good condition
Thank you! I have restored it !
What A gem! Please Keep it safely as we may not recieve these exellent quelities ceiling fans.
Absolutely!
Number of slotes
24 Slot 4 pole
Can a 16 pole motor tolerate 56” blades
Obviously it can tolerate 56inch blades
Hi, Can you pls share your opinion.. How is this fan in comparison with Crompton or havells.. I need a 18" exhaust for cooler.
Go for Almonard or Crompton. Both companies are good.
Havells is good but Almonard and Crompton is old company so its more Trustable. I am having a 50yrs old exhaust fan. its brand is GEC (General Electric Co.) vintage exhaust fan
@@antiquefanworld1728 yes gec now become alstom but quality is not that good. One more company is marathon electric... Have you ever experienced that? Actually I want to assemble a cooler that can be used in balcony or window with easy mobility. Can it is possible with almonard exhaust? Can we run it in heavy plastic body?
Hello! Could you make a review/a video of the Almonard 30″(760mm) HDEF(Heavy Duty Exhaust Fan),it is an 870W single phase AC exhaust fan, it produces around 7000CFM fan at 900RPM,Please make a video on this particular model only if possible! Thank You!
Oh no, I don't have space to keep big exhaust fan sir. I used to like big 30inch and 36inch exhaust fan but are costly and no space.
I will be reviewing a 50yr old exhaust fan soon!
Ah I see,makes sense,No problem!
My Crompton Greaves high breeze is white in color purchased in 1991 and it is 48” but has the same Startup noise it has 16+16 pole coil the Upper canopy has a hand logo colored black and the fan runs at 310 rpm and also it has silver shackle and the fan makes loud Harmonic noises when I flip the switch on it has slow torque.
If slow torque then put new capacitor of 2.5 MFD.
Bro I have this model fans too ma grandpa's mom brought that in 1976❤
Wow nice to know!
Next, try Almonard Air Vent 300mm Heavy Duty exhaust fan.
I have an even more bigger GEC Exhaust fan to review!
@@antiquefanworld1728 But Please Buy Almonard After Getting the GEC.
In my grandmas house we have two crompton high breeze 48 brown with the same startup sound

Yes
I've always been a fan of USHA :3 I'm bringing over a USHA deluxe, popular, and Air King to the United States, and I'm gonna show them the power of USHA 50's and 60's fans made in India! Of course, I have a GEC Toofan, but I love the style of USHA fans, elegance in industrial styling, performance, classic design, rarity and so on! Of course, 110v 60hz is not suitable, but I'll have a testing rig to convert the power to 220v 50hz to test and eventually post the videos to TH-cam. You are a big reason among the very few who own USHA fans that I started collecting them overseas! Thanks!
Yeah! Usha is good, their design, etc are of good quality. GEC Toofan is my favorite. Once I had a wish to get Toofan but Instead i got GEC Everest 60". Both are good quality fans!
@antiquefanworld1728 would you still want a GEC TooFan? I'll consider selling you mine, I really like it, of course, and I understand they are pretty rare nowadays. I do have about 3 or 4 usha fans coming in within the next month, so I'll need to make some space :P
How to is possible hb blade not fit on small hb
Small HB blade is small, distance between both screw holes are different.
AWESOME FAN. Much better than Crompton Parkinson ball/riverseries. Much powerful than Indus fan, Heavy duty fan
Yeah!
Rare gem Look's like Crompton Parkinson
But better than crompton
