Great stuff, Aditya. Awesome pick despite the coil being burnt. Anyways the stator, rotor and shaft are of king size and really worth rewinding it. Cool treasure. Best wishes ❤

      Will you be repairing it?

@AF "Singer Merritt" made fans with the help of the USHA JAY Engineering works because when Singer came to India, they didn't have factory for making their fans so for that reason only USHA made fans for them and that's the main reason why this Merritt fan looks like an USHA fan.

Yup! i can rewind it my self because ! have studied rewinding process of old and new fans, but the problem is time! it will take a lot of time to rewind and also need a lot of money for the copper wire as you know, even a single old fan coils have enough wires to rewind 2 new ceiling fans! BTW i won't sell it but will keep it with me until i get some time to rewind!

BTW my uncle who gave me this Singer fan is now giving his 50s USHA DELUXE! and i never expected to get it because he liked it so much but he thought of renovating his house so he sold it to me for free.
