- Hello guys! today i will be showing you a very rare GEC Exhaust Fan! its from around late 70s or early to late 80s.
Works perfectly fine!
Got it for 300rs
Specs :
Model : GEC Industrial Fan Motor
power : 80w
speed : 1400 rpm
poles : 4+4
insulation type : bakelite + B class
age : 40/40+
frame : cast iron.
Mechanically sorted. Just give it a makeover it deserves.
Nice, very rare to see such old tpw fans like exhaust and table fans preserve it well👍
Thank you boss!
Nice
Thank you.
WoW i can't believe a GEC exhaust fan from 1974 can run very fast! I am gonna say that this GEC fan is better THAN Crompton
Very True. Its even better than Crompton and Almonard
Nice one but the frame and the motor needs to be restored. One more thing is it needs to be tested for it's wiring and checking the winding of the motor.
Everything tested perfectly, have put motor varnish so coils stick together. No humming sound. Using 5hrs every day and no issues!
Ok sounds good!
@@adityasankar2136 Yeah and by the way, are you there on Insta? Whatsapp? I would like to contact you!
I don't think that is the right place to contact. The device is not for contacts.
I used to have whatsapp, but sadly it can hold very few members barely.
Next, try Almonard Air Vent 300mm Heavy Duty exhaust fan.
I have an even more bigger GEC Exhaust fan to review!
@@antiquefanworld1728 But Please Buy Almonard After Getting the GEC.
This type of blade is not suitable for high static pressure.
But better than Crompton and Almonard. You could hold the whole fan by holding one blade itself
@@antiquefanworld1728 I have Crompton Transair 12”
Are there any old Almonard Heavy Duty exhaust fans?@@antiquefanworld1728
@@antiquefanworld1728 Well Crompton Trans Air and Almonard are mostly for "High Static Pressure" suction, while the GEC exhaust fan is mostly for "High Airflow" suction.
@@ShashankArv I will show you a real GEC exhaust fan which is nearly 50yrs old.
Nice rare fan
Thank U bruh
Amazing collection 🤩, obviously much better than any exhaust in that era
VERY TRUE!
Better than trans air users LOL 🤣🤣🤣
This particular GEC is even older than when trans air was introduced. trans air comes with thin sheet metal frame whereas GEC gave cast iron frame. GEC exhaust fans where built to last.
