- Bought it for installing it on my 90s CG Super Gold tube holder.
spec:
40w max
year : 2000s-2010s
type : polyester electric, induction ballast
coil : Aluminum.
original price 140
got it for 60rs.
Nice collection,we have 5 old type tubelights left. Rest all are the newer led tubelights.
I had retrieved all their ballasts( chokes),starters, starter holders, tublight holders before scraping the tublight chassis.
These days even the electronic chokes are very rare at electrical shops.
Old type ballasts i have are from surya, laxman sylvania, solex, crompton.
Electronic choke- philips
Starter- philips both plastic and with metal body, surya metal body, and some local made starters.
Nice bro! You should keep them preserved because they are pretty rare nowadays!
@@antiquefanworld1728 yes! I will
Thanks
I have a cromgold, painted restored and working
Awesome bro. I need to restore my 4 supergold holders including 1 which is currently in usage.
@@jeromerappai5459 thanks bro
@@jeromerappai5459 awesome, waiting for the video of that
@@ElectroMaticPlus_48 Yes bro! Your most welcome ☺. The reason why I can't message from my channel account is because my laptop is in the custody of my parents because my exams are going on.😅
@@jeromerappai5459 oh, ok, study well👍
Nice old tubelight accesories...from a bygone era. I miss the flickering and that loud buzz. BTW do you have or even seen Osram ballasts?? wider font ones I think from the 80's
Yeah! they are Nostalgic but i never saw a 1980s Osram.
@@antiquefanworld1728 well because they are prolly very expensive back in the day. I do have a 1980's osram ballast somewhere...it worked. it was fitted on a one hell of a oddball fixture, instead of steel fixture... the main structure is Wood!!
@@antiquefanworld1728 yes the main structure plate is wood, prolly oak. The theres a wood sticker aluminium box, when its lifted like a mousetrap, theres the ballast. Its a 2ft fixture. I have another wood one 2ft, but with no ballast cover. Ill post that later...
Wow where did u find this sealed pack
Yes bro, I bought it from my nearest offline shop. The guy in that shop was doing stock clearance and found 3-4 pcs and I bought one from him. He also buys old ceiling fans from demolisher and sells them. I bought CG High Breeze 56" of 1969 and the 1990s HB from there. He is currently having GEC Goldline 48", and some re-winded 2000s hb and a hand logo high speed 48".
Bro, this is very rare, where did you find it, I still have to find polyester ballast for my superlites (Bajaj)
I am Antique fan world. I got this from my friend's shop. He got 3-4pcs of these so I bought one for my ✋ logo supergold.
@@jeromerappai5459 oh ok, thanks
@@ElectroMaticPlus_48You will get these from old electric shops because mostly they do have old stock appliances. I got mine from a very old shop. I bought many things even 2nd hand fans like: cg hb56 1970s, 90s cg hb and some spare parts for fans..
