Dated between 1970 - 1974
Needs bearing replacement only. The fan is in a very good running condition.

Best ever 56" fan ever in the Indian market. No one can defeat this beast. The gec Whispair 18pole 56 gives a good competition with this beast.

The fan is having 20pole motor and not an 18pole.
20pole?,kinda strange,70's 56" was 18 pole, spinning on 280 rpm and 70's 48" was 9+18 making it slightly faster
@@electricalbro6308 Even I was shocked after seeing It's 20+10 pole configuration. The rpm is around 265 to 270 but airflow is quite awesome. I re-varnished the windings and everything fine. Now there is no up down or sideways play on motor. I asked about these to SB and he said that Crompton's first model of HB56 was 20pole with higher shank angle. And it was derived from high efficiency.
@@jeromerappai5459 i have been offered two fans both brown colour,a 2000's Orient and a 2001 Khaitan magnate,ik Khaitan magnate is better choice but still,is it worth taking? fan is in good condition with original tibcon capacitor and original winding, bearing will make slight noise anyways cause the fan has aged up but still canopies are also in a good condition

Bro, that's Taparia 815 tester and it costs near 40 - 50rs only.
Bearings cannot be re-greased because the bearings itself failed heavily due to usage in dry and lack of oil which cause heavy wear on bearing groves which cause play on motor.

@@ari91629 First you should check whether the windings are original. You should check whether it's running silently and properly. You can ask to decrease the money if the bearings are bad.
