Why LEGO Dreamzzz is Failing...
มุมมอง 37K14 วันที่ผ่านมา
In this video, I talk about the current state of LEGO Dreamzzz, by looking at the sets, minifigures and TV show, to determine what is causing this theme to be severly overlooked by the LEGO community. With so many amazing new prints, moulds and minifigures, you would think this theme would appeal to the masses, however it seems to be doing the opposite. If you did enjoy the video please conside...

WHAT????? WHAT DID YOU SAY?????. Brother, I can't. I can't. Hollywood and mainly lego.... can't make Ninja movies.... PLEASE GOD, let this be a good movie
They found kid grew with lego will buy lego as adults. So they start target those
Toy: Something that provides amusement Just cause it's for adults doesn't mean it's not a toy. People only say otherwise cause they are fragile as hell to the point where they get all pissy when someone calls their *toy* a *toy*
That show might be one of the reasons why im a furry. LEGO ANTHRO ANIMALS!!!!
Waiting for a universal classic monsters set / castle
I think i had the big ass stone colossus thing back in the day. Guess its time to dig into the lego box and sell it to some collector😅
I never really watched nor played with LEGO but this video waked an ancient memory which was buried deep down my brain. I had totally forgotten about this😭 I think I kinda liked this movie or whatever it was
Word models is proper term
Model kits are still toys Toy: Something that provides amusement
Just got the Narwhal set at my Walmart and it was $15.97 here in the US. All that was on the shelves besides that was the Z-Blob set, I couldn’t find a single one of the bigger sets. Really wanted that Turtle Van, the dinosaur, or the nightmare shark.
brooo i still remember back in the days when my mom was driving over 200km away just to get on my brithday that mamouth lego build i was so happy and shit was so cool. wish i could get back to thos beautiful days.
The root of this, I think really stems from the larger cultural shift in the way kids play. Video games, phones and general electronic devices occupy way more of the average child’s attention than ever before. The next few generations will probably be the last to have toys at the same capacity we did. Toys as a concept won’t be going away anytime soon, and kids will still have them, but not to the same extent. Meanwhile the generations aged 20-40 find themselves in a world that has learned to sell them back their nostalgia. The cost living has risen such that young adults can barely afford apartments or cars, so why not use all that disposable income to recapture what your childhood felt like. Lego like all other toy companies has come to realize 20 something adults are probably the best market they’ve ever had. They can produce huge, expensive sets, most of them licensed, and designed to sit on shelves as display pieces, without needing to consider family budgets or parent’s reluctance to spoil their children. Children are no longer the primary concern of the average toy company.
EXCELLENT LEGO MAN CAM WORK. ❤❤❤😊❤❤❤😊❤❤❤😊

Can you please do one for hero factory?
8:00 forward. you’re exactly right. As long as people keep buying it, they’ll keep upping the price!
if they aren't toys anymore, then make deadpool and wolverine sets!
Well you might just be asking about were are those R rated, M rated moves as well as irl tragedy events as Lego sets.
With the steady increase in quality of some non-LEGO brand bricks, combined with as you put it the increasing cost of living crisis, I do wonder how many parents will be turning to these cheaper alternatives for their children. I don't mean people buying intentional copyright infringing LEGO knockoffs, but alt brands who're producing their own sets which may even be more kid-focused as well as more affordable than LEGO is becoming. If such a trend does develop, we may see in the next 10-15 years an entire generation of young adults whose childhood memories include happily playing with non-LEGO building bricks. As both they and these alt brands mature, will we see them become more prevalent in the marketplace? Will we see them gain increased marketplace acceptance and legitimacy among brick building toy fans? If so, LEGO will only have themselves to blame.
I would love to see a video on the "what went wrong/why failed" theme on Lego power miners
Who else misses the old days where play come before display
I sort of do, I wasn't around during LEGO's "golden" years as some may call it, a part of me still subconsciously yearns for the days of classic town and city, they were such simple yet creative sets with simple minifigures that you didn't have to worry about selling on some after market.
Yeah i desperately want cheaper sets with good value@@gamerboyofficalyt
GREAT LEGO MAN CAM LEGO IS NOT JUST TOY
lol nobody’s stopping you from it tho
@@AJedits65 huh
I’m going to Legoland Windsor for Christmas
cool man, happy for you
The Fortrex is amazing as soon as I had it I was craving for Merlok's library Fortrex is so much fun and you can even split it
I love the show had nearly all sets from the lava monster time (2 missing and the micro sets) and had some season 2 sets
Legends of Chima is fire
The comics aren't bassed on what would've actually happened in season 5-6, tho. I know 5 would've made nexo knights more popular...
I cant belive it ran only from 2013-2015! It felt like such a big thing when I was a kid, with the TV-show and all
If we could get a generic Lego theme with just iconic Minifigures and sets as fun packs
They are al ginger video game characters who only appeared in under 3 sets
E
Considering the ammount of furries online, it truely is weird this failed.
Imagine this show becomes a new multi-year Lego success. That would probably be great for Lego and would convince them to start making their own themes again. This would be fine as long as they don’t mess with the legend itself and their most popular continuing oc, Ninjago. Imagine a love-action Dreamzzz movie… 💀
*live-action, not love-action… someone delete autocorrect from existence please 🙏
😎😎😎👍🏼 cool
Was the game based of season 3 the last year before it closed
