My friend Faris doing his thing. He's actually considerably faster than this, I caught him when he was tired from skating a lot already. He's so smooth and fast!

Bit of fun before one of Ray's jumping classes. More about playing around with the 60fps HD camera, and then slowing it down.

Attempted overtake
มุมมอง 6K16 ปีที่แล้ว
A lorry driver from Mayday Tool and Plant Hire attempts to overtake at an inappropriate and unsafe moment. Luckily he aborts when I signal a stop to him with my right arm extended, palm facing back. This causes him to repeatedly beep his horn, whilst pulling a sign at me. If he'd only waited a little, I would have happily pulled in somewhere to let him past once my own safety wasn't at stake. Nearly over the bonnet
มุมมอง 2.4K16 ปีที่แล้ว
An oncoming car driver doesn't pay attention when turning right across my path. My mistake was to assume he was going to stop after all, when on approaching this junction I'd felt twitchy. There are lots of cyclists out there with helmet cameras, so be aware your misdeeds may be captured for youtube fame. www.londonskaters.com/cycling/article-helmet-cameras.htm
Another scary overtake
มุมมอง 11K16 ปีที่แล้ว
It seems to be an IVECO flatbed belonging to Simply Scaffolding, but unfortunately I can't make out the registration. Letter sent to the company. Why do people overtake so closely? It's in the face of oncoming traffic in a lane only just wide enough for the vehicle. It's definitely not wide enough for both his vehicle and mine. In fairness, this sort of incident is very rare. I think the last o...

You should see my circles. A new dimension to geometry
What's the line for?
how's Naomi
That is so cool and looks like a ton of fun! My friends and I need to go do this! haha! Side note: Your bearings are squeaking a lot! Maybe it's time to change them. ;)
Wow! That's awesome! hey, i make skateboarding videos. if you would enjoy it, feel free to come over to my channel and check out some of the videos..they are really epic! :D
ahh, Naomi...you and Asha Kirkby were a great inspiration to me a number of years ago; is there any hope for a bloke in his middle 50's on skates?
nice...
My new lesson, thank you.
Thank you for the tutorial. It would be very helpful to have subtitiles as the background noise is really loud.
tks Naomi!! very good tutorial!
Love how this opens... "Looks quite complicated and IS quite complicated.." lol :D
hi, mmm....... my english is not very well but, i have a question. is the grapevine the same move than crazy slalom?
do it on your front wheels now.. it looks better lol
its really great I never seen trick like ,,,
Did she do any other tutorial videos?
WOW
WHICH pants? LOL :D
Grammar : Fucked.
Thanks a loooot, great triks!!
Yes rockering is great for slalom. But you need to get use to it.
Ive been playing for over 20 - and i did embarrass myself. Good luck!
the first time i saw the video i thought would be very difficult, but since been trying to have a better skating, from nowhere ive accomplished by doing 1/2 moon stokes, the double push is amazing.
Hi Dippps - for Grapevine, and general slalom etc. do you recommend smaller front and back wheels ( rockering ) on the Twister skate ( for example as seen on the the stock Seba Igor Pro skate )
I remember being so young and just skating everyday and just doing things like this without even knowing it was anything at all.
Mabrouk not it is crazy
Very good video. The best I've seen. The step I went crazy, and now I do and I understand. Thank you very much. Greetings from Gijon (Spain)
At that skill level I doubt anyone's going to be focussing on her PANTS when she's hitting her moves lol!
would this be done differently in quads?
Try skating up Mill Hill.
This is the clearest explanation and demonstration of the grapevine I've found yet. I always get stuck once I'm facing backwards and going on to the toes (on on quads). I think this video just 'unclicked' something for me though, can't wait to try it out now!
So nice
By actively steering both feet all the time, as well as actively holding the edge (i.e. angle of wheels with the road) of each skate. Sorry the answer isn't an easy one. :)
How do you keep your foot straight
Is rockering "required" with the grapevine or is still doable with a straight setup ?
powerslide hardcore evo, amazing skate for the price
Seba Skates are really good for slalom
Hii Naomi, what measure you advice for the front wheel (72? or 76 ?) to do slalon when the others wheels of the skate have 80mm ? Tx.
how do you do this????????????????????????
I hate skateboards
Derp
Absolutely brilliant instructor...I can't thank you enough. Thank you for taking the time to show how this is done.
Suuuuuuure you do
i am skater and i live in baku
Well, more like Mabrouk is grapevine, but around cones in one way. Just like crazy is grapevine around cones in another way.
isnt it Mabrouk?
Rollerblade Twister
English please?
опана руский комент) да он кеп блин кто так тормазить не умеет
Yes, you need to hold your body in the position shown in the video. Physics dictates that your left foot and your upper body will want to come forward as your heelbrake foot slows down. Keep the left skate back, with force, and you won't lose your balance so easily.
when use heelbrake , my other foot continues to go and i fall back !
