I Drove the ELECTRIC BMW iX For 2 Weeks in the World's GREENEST Country
BMW Has finally released their first "True" Electric Vehicle - the BMW iX. But can a classic car maker even produce a good EV? Do they know how to build a "true" Electric Car, and not just an ICE Car that has had its engine replaced with a battery?
To find out, I traveled across the World to the country of Denmark, where I was given an iX40 for two weeks. Denmark is an extremely green country with very high EV adoptation, so I figured it would be the perfect place to test drive the iX.
Join me as I try to make sense of this car, and uncover its quirks, its strengths - and its ONE crucial flaw.
Is thi iX good enough to compete with Tesla?
You'll have to watch to find out.

My OLD Tesla Model S Just BROKE. Now What???
มุมมอง 230Kปีที่แล้ว
Eventually it happens! Your old Tesla Model S goes out of warranty - and then it breaks. We are used to this from old ICE cars, but what happens when an old EV needs a repair? My old 2013 Tesla Model S (P85 Performance) is usually super reliable, but it finally broke down the other day. I checked with Tesla, and they wanted a very high price to repair it - much higher than I expected! So I deci...
Is an OLD Tesla Model S Worth It?
มุมมอง 616Kปีที่แล้ว
A 10 year old Tesla Model S can be had for a price that's much more reasonable than a brand new, 2023 Model S. But are the old, first generation Model S cars still worth it, or are they completely obsolete? The tech in Teslas has changed significantly over the years, but at their core, the original cars are still remarkable in their own way. I bought a 2013 Tesla Model S (P85 Performance Versio...
ALFA ROMEO 4C | An Overlooked SUPERCAR BARGAIN?
มุมมอง 92K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I have a long term love affair with Alfa Romeo. My dad had Alfa Romeos when I was growing up, and I learned to drive in a GTV (I even took my test in it). There has always been something very special about the gorgeous Italian Design, and their willingness to put the driver experience above everything else. But in the late 90s and '00s, it seemed like Alfa lost their way a little, and took the ...

The Porsche Macan (S) is NOT worth your money. Here is why…
มุมมอง 47K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I bought a 2017 Porsche Macan S and sold it again 6 months later. Why? Because even though the Macan is Porsche's most popular car ever, and there are a lot of great things about the Macan, it just didn't come close to what I expect from a Porsche. Watch the video for both random facts (lots of them), and my owner review of the 2017 Macan S (my 7th Porsche) About me I live and play in beautiful...

(OMG!) I accidentally put TRUCK TIRES on my Tesla Model S. Did they work????
มุมมอง 1.5K3 ปีที่แล้ว
My Tesla Model S needed new tires and I somehow ended up with Lionhart LH-EIGHT truck tires on it. Will they work? Follow along for a drive in Southern California, where I put the tires and the Tesla to the test and give a general review of what it's like to drive a luxury car on tires meant for a truck.
The top button makes sense to me. Push down to put down pull up to put up.

the review was spot on I prefer reviews that get to the point with going into detail that have nothing to do with the vehicle. or a lot of bad jokes I will watch more of his reviews. I will get an X4 soon.
My Tesla model s 2022 have the same problem, but not all the time. Sometimes open and Sometimes don't. I am frustrated from Tesla Israel bad service. Now I need to wait 2 months for the locker of the door and hope it will fix it. Untill than I have to suffer.
seems you pretty knowledge with TESLAS so... I found a 2012 S P85 for ONLY 11,000 and would like to know do you think it's worth it? also what should I look for when I go to test drive it in a couple days? I'm a newbie to Tesla any info will be appreciated.
Can you imagine your wife doing a cross country in an electric? Fact is, dozens of women are getting assaulted at charging stations. This is the Democratic party toy
you look a whole lot like sting
Got my 2018 X4 M40i 2 months ago and so far no issues at all
I've bought my Model S 3 years ago, it was from 2017, I've done around 83.000km's with it, from Portugal to Germany and back, I don't know what people give in terms of Range and whatever, the Battery condition was above the average Model S haver, and it could do 300k'ms depending on the inclination of the terrain, fantastic car, to me, the only downfall of this particular model, is the Charging Time, if you're willing to sit down for 35 up to 45 minutes, it worsens a bit as it gets cold, but It's a fantastic car, My only Gripe with it, was always the limited 150kws, and the glaring Charging Curve, but if you're not doing this kind of road trips, 8 times a year, and you mostly charge at home, then it's easily one of the most reliable cars I've ever had
What wheels are on your car?
i have a 2016 model s with 245k miles i bought it new with 0 miles in california and i live in texas today , i take trips from texas to california very regularly but i only supercharge it when im on a trip every other day its been charge in my house with a level 2 charger i still get 220 miles on a full charge and on a trip going 75mph or more i get 190 miles its plenty enough still for me to go for long trips even after 8 years of every day use . that car was so good to me that i bought a second one a model 3 long range and now i use my model 3 and the model s and both are amazing wonderful vehicles, i can't live without my tesla and my last car was a 2012 gt500 and a 2016 zl1 i traded both cars for ev's, im hoping this years ends well and i want to sell my model s i dont care i get 5k for it because i already use it alot hehe but i want to buy a model plaid or a p100d
bargin not for long, supply demand, since discountined and crazy infllation, 4c will hold its value, u can drive for free
It's 4cly stop trying to get the prices to rise
Good reviews on your model S. It would be great for your followers and other Tesla owners if you could kindly share your tire sizes on front & rears, please? Assuming you still own your S still, what tires did you get on them finally? Thx!
I have a model S 2014 P85. In my 10,5 years ownership I never charge to 100 % . It demages the battery on the long term. Good luck with your car.
I like your final line. 👍
I bought a used 2015 S Tesla that was literally top end during it's time ( $120k with all the stuff in it) that has dual chargers, AP 1.0, Free Super charging, free premium connectivity, MCU2, 48k miles on it, car looked to be in perfect condition for around $19k after CA incentives. I think they are 100% worth it.
wouldnt it be easier buyer a f100 pick up truck?
Hello, I'm interested in the wheels on your tesla. They look beautiful. Could you give the size and type of wheel as well as the tire size that you used? Thanks in advance.
damn dogg. that was a lot of time and effort. good job..
Are you from germany originally?
I own a 2015 MS85D with 227,000 miles and it still has 87% battery. No major issues at all and the car still looks and drives as new. I’d get another in a heartbeat .. my problem is my car is still perfect .. so flipping it seems silly.
I got an older cell phone with a $15/mo Mint Mobile subscription, set it up with MyBMW and a custom gmail account on it as my BMW key. If I want anybody else to drive my car, they just need that phone. I got a BMW case on it, so I can tell it from my normal phone. I programmed in the local police, my emergency contacts, and the BMW dealership number. The phone sits in the phone holder when I drive, so it's always charged.
You wrappet the door handles and then is he stuck 😅
Fell asleep out of boredom after 1 min
Well i was thinking about buying a used model S but man i dont feel like repairing it at all.
Thanks for the insight.
If they can the range to double what they are now, I will head straight to a Tesla dealership❤
Every one in this comment section says ohhhhh u don’t want an electric car because they blah blahhh. Bruh you are the same ppl if your transmission fail will start crying about repair cost. And if 1 thing fails the other parts of your car follows. Cry me a river
I seen a killer in your eyes after the 3rd time lol.
Audi TT rs 400 Hp way better
Newport Beach, R8 in the garage, his time invested in DIY repair was probably not worth his time if were it not for the benefit of the income of making the video. Good video though, the older model S's are much more affordable but I'm just not a fan of zionist oligarch Elon Musk.
I would like to know who did your video, it’s amazing. Can you share their contact information?
It was me
Sure - I’d be happy to! It was me 😄
Car is broken down then fix it.
if it charges with approx. 35-39kw and it shouldn't, then there is usually something wrong with the cooling on the charger. But when you drive an EV, you never charge to 100% when you sit and wait unless you are forced to, due to a lack of chargers. After all, it takes much longer than just charging less and then charging a little again later.
The car has grown on me
I'm a little confused about whey you left at 80% charge, but charged up to 100% while in the road...seems like you'd want the 100 percent when you left, and then only up to 80% mid trip...
😂
This and the F Types along with the R8s are bargain cars honestly o love em. In a world where Lambos and Ferraris seem to be a standard along rich people R8s 4Cs FType And even the Porsches are bargains super car looking cars
Doors do not close with quality sound for sure. Every day annoyance. Cupholders are a disaster. So German. Interior has some great materials and some terrible. Air Suspension is essential. Not standard on 50 in USA. It leases well in USA. Excellent review. One of the best I have seen. Tons of detailed comments. Thank you!
The 4C looks good in red but man it looks sinister in black. I can’t afford an Alfa 4C so I’ll stick with a Ducati Monster instead. Same Italian thrills for less money.
Tesla quality🤣
Love every bit of this beast.Have owned it for over a month and really enjoy the comfort and driving experience
My 2014 is @295.000mls, still running strong. I would not sell it for anything. Total maintenance costs in 10 years around $5000 (battery needed some new cells and motor newly insulated).
If you have problems with the timing chain cover it’s not 8k they have changed the repair it’s right at $900
Porsche 992 Turbo S. There's no substitute.
What's an SUV that feels nimble to you?
Run flats on 20" (and esp on 21") wheels is one of the reason for not being that comfortable. Try non-RFT. And for REAL non-comfortable ride try X4M lol.
Great job! I love my high mileage old school Model S and you've inspired me to share a bit more about my year with the car so far!
