I find it interesting that the Imps just instantly hate Stolas and act like “YOU SUCK” and admire Blitz like how fans treat Stolas and Blitz, just more extreme. Almost like that one Fizz fanboy.

I hated the episode because it wants us to feel the tension, the giant untangling of their mistakes, but it was ZERO preparation for that, there's no build up.

Guys... Its fiction. Its not ment to be an example of real life. If we had perfect characters there would be little to no conflict and it would be boring. These are demons in hell. They can be shitty people.

Super late to this video but ( incoming long ass paragraph ), this video is solid! I myself like Helluva and Hazbin but as many people here I am not quite satisfied with a lot of the questionable decisions they made thus far. I used to ship Stolitz and even liked Stolas as a character, but ever since the Full Moon episode I've been reconsidering some things regarding the ship and the gay owl. The show seems to gaslight the audience into thinking that both are in the wrong, yet if you really examine everything we know about them so far, it's pretty obvious that Stolas is slightly more to blame as he started the arrangement, treated it as such yet got upset when Blitz called him out on it. The show also gives Stolas WAY too many excuses, whereas in Blitz's case he gets blamed for everything no matter if deserved or not which is genuienly irritating. If you want to evoke that both parties are to blame, then actually take effort in doing so instead of blaming one yet not the other, especially if one of them was the one who suggested a sex based exchange to begin with. The ship being toxic isn't necesarilly the problem, it's moreso that the writers look at a toxic ship and treat it as normal instead of simply calling out the bad parts just because "gay drama fun". Anyway enough yapping, love the video :) ( and the TLJ poster in the back lol )

The Stolitz arc in Helluva Boss just somewhat reminds me so much of Elle Woods' relationship with Warner Huntington III, ngl. I really liked your overview on Season 1! :3

I believe That Vivzipop (how is the creator) of both Hellva Boss and Hazbin Hotel has no idea about how Toxic couples work There complicated Couples with issues and yes it is hard to leave a toxic relationship. I mean it’s okay (Kindve) To have a Toxic as (story of conflict purposes) I don’t get me started on how poorly SH ( Sexual Harrsment) SA (Sexual Assult) or R@pe are handled in Hazbin Hotel. If your gonna have sensitive issues in Show, game or book It’s needs to be treated with Care, honor, respect and sensitivity.

oh my god yes! I did like Stolitz, but i realized that the relationship, even if they fixed their issues, is still toxic. What I would really want is if they ended up as just friends and not lovers/husbands/whatever.

Blitz fucks a lot of things up, but he's definitely the victim here It's absurd how many people defend Stolas' behavior and I'm so booooored of the Stolitz stuff being dragged into a "will they won't they" trope for episodes and episodes God, just talk (and end this once and for all, Stolas does not deserve Blitz, give him a break and therapy)

This relationship is peak "if it were straight, you would HATE it" because it clearly panders to shippers who are too young/naive to notice red flags and read too many romance novels. Broken people don't always save each other, and a relationship that begins with such a radical power imbalance (and transational nature) is very unlikely to ever transition to a healthy healing place. The good ending would be Blitz finding his own self worth before finding any romance in someone new who will see him as a person. Not some forbidden fruit or savior. Or even finding no one and just being happy as a father, comfortable in his own skin and okay with being on his own because he knows he's not alone

stolitz is one helluva 'couple'

Not exactly The show want's people to realize that BOTH of them are in the Wrong. That they are both making mistakes and eventually they can fix those problems together, like actual couples do. It's Hard for young people to understand because most of the people complaining are teenagers and have absolutely no real world experience so they cannot grasp what reality is actually like. Maturing will make people see this for what it is, two people who have no idea how to have a relationship because they've never known what love actually feels like.

I notice a lot of people saying Ozzie was hypocritical to diss Stolas' for dating and imp, but I think he was only dissing Stolas for fucking someone else while he was married and has a daughter. Yeah ik Stolas and Stella never actually gave two shits about each other, but for all we know the sins didn't know that. Not to mention, Ozzie was in public then and his relationship with Fizz was never really revealed to the public so he also had to hold up an image for himself

A lot of couples on TV and in shows are toxic it's what creates conflict which makes it entertaining to watch

Here's the thing... the show knows they're toxic. When people try to say Blitz is the only one in the wrong, people forget that the show isn't even done covering their relationship. Like... we don't even know if they'll acknowledge Stolas' wrongdoings, when they probably will acknowledge it, and the show knows they have to improve. That's the point of a character arc.

i have been on the backburner on buying this game and it looks fun but what i don't get is why they didn't just a similar story to the mobile game that came out before this game i still might buy it but imm skimming through the story

give BATTLE ASSAULT 1 a try, its great, i played it a lot.

if i had a nickel where 2 creators of indie animation try's to make us love toxic couples and the toxic characters, i would have 2 nickels which isn't alot but its weird it happened twice tbh tho i will always prefer this toxic ship and characters compared to jake and tom from disventure camp, legit only been close to as mad mad as i have with toxic "twink" jake 2 other times, both from tokyo afterschool summoners and while both are toxic it isnt a couple toxic so i wont explain further ether way tho all 4 are better off as single not only for them but for everyone around them

Fun little tidbit I heard too, a Disney animator or two worked on the Phantom of the Opera and the D.H.O.R.K.S. mass annihilation scenes. It's why they look so different.

Im starting to like this show after hating it for years, but I don't deny it's writing could be miles better. I think Blitzo and Stolas are still fun characters, despite some of the frustration they cause. Honestly, I think it's the art style of the show that attracts me. It's just beautiful.

Maybe i want to love to watch a adult cartoon about demons being in a toxic relationship. Have you ever thought that maybe this is how relationships for demons is normal for them but to us human beings it is toxic and wrong? To me This is what is normal for them in hell.

This is one of those shows I can go rewatch a season of and laugh my ass off while catching up to put context to the later episodes. Not always on point, but its really enjoyable. Stolas and Blitz to me feels like that stereotypical "Will they wont they" trope but with all the raw emotion that comes from trauma of different sorts that 100% exist in our loves in some way. That, and the portrayal of hell as just slightly worse than average earth that subscribed to martial law gets along very well with how I would see hell if it existed.

HELLUVA BOSS Wants You to Love a TOXIC Couple...Because Viv finds it hot and kinky. That's the only reason why. So she is dead set on making you love it for that reason too. All the problematic elements are just the spice that make it fun for Viv and she wants to force that unhealthy attraction onto you too. Viv isn't concerned with how self-destructive both Blitzo and Stolas are because she's already writing the endgame scenes of their relationship winning out and the world being force to accept them. It's a creepy yaoi fanfic which has devoured the plot and premise because Viv cannot help herself and wants it that badly.
