I ALWAYS wanted to play this game but it is so f*cking expensive in my country (to the point it costs almost half the montly income of most of the people living here). Watching this warms my heart as I dont have to sell my soul to buy it.
BTW did you know none of the paid Season pass content is even out yet they just put out the last part of the free 4 hour long story expansion for the 2 months after launch going into the season pass content in June 2021
I have a love/hate relationship with this games on the one hand it has the best most flushed out rpg elements in the series and on the other hand the story is about 2 chapters too long and drags like crazy
Moin Moin. Sry I didn't notice the upload earlier.😱 SAO alternative should get a Fatal Bullet sequel at some point. At least that one was good. Thx again for making me buy that one.😊
Just got an update on this game part 1 of the season pass for paid DLC 1 bandai namco said maybe ready for october WTF they should have finished it by now not 2023 at this rate
It's been awhile since I've touched this game but I was able to get through the entirety of the story and really got a feel for what the game was about before the first paid Dlc came out. Story wise I can't fucking STAND it, solely because of Medina and how integral she was to the plot. Look, she was good at the start when I first started learning about who she was and what she was like. But holy fucking shit does she becoming UNBEARABLY idiotic in the later half of the story, literally causing a majority of the problems because she doesn't fucking listen to the one person who spent literally the first HALF OF THE GAME helping her through possibly the worst chapter of her life and she trust the main antagonist more for some fucking reason. Gameplay wise It's 50/50 for me. I can enjoy the enemies being damage sponges because I liked how the weaponskills flowed into each other and you could rake up hefty amounts of damage. I can hate the enemies being damage sponges when there are either too many of them or said enemies have weird mechanics that the game just doesn't tell you about. Playing around with the weapons was fun and is super rewarding figuring out you're preferred combo route with your skills. However grinding for those same skills literally halts the amount of fun you're having because you don't have all the fancy toys to mess with so you can't get a full picture of what each weapon does and what role it serves. The Classes are all really cool and allow you to further hone in on your preferred playstyle and gives you a great deal of passive customization. The Classes at the same time just boil down to Passive and some actives and nothing much more, like altering your playstyle drastically and allowing you to tackle certain scenarios differently. Overall I don't hate the game, there's a lot of potential there and some cool ideas, but are muddled down by lack luster execution. There is multiplayer that can make the game more fun in some ways but Multiplayer creates more problems than it hides, like having the enemies act weirdly because each player can see the enemies can each do something differently to each player and the effects go out but the enemy gets rollback to what the host saw. if given the choice to play Alicization Lycoris or Fatal bullet I will chose Fatal Bullet every time. Tldr: Story sucks because of Medina and Gameplay is good if you can deal with it.
I read the whole thing. Can't say I'm not surprised. I am surprised that Medina kills the story for you, but my bias is incredibly skewed towards her, ngl. I do understand what you mean though. I appreciate you watching and sharing your thoughts ❤️
When it comes to SAO games in general, you'll hate them if you hate the source material. But tbh, I like Alicization Lycoris because they went back to the basics gameplay-wise; instead of cranking up the fast-paced dial, the devs at Aquria decided to relax and observe the formula they concocted with Hollow Fragment, which relied a bit on strategy more than mere button mashing. Imo, it's a bit more balanced between an RPG and an action game, albeit a bit broken if you know what you're doing.
I understand what you mean. Honestly, at this point in time, I pretty much understand why people like it, and I don't think I was far off in the video. If you like the source material, there will be more to like in general
I'm curious, have you played any God Eater? Seems like it would be up your tastes from what I've seen on your channel so far. Though the question that follows is, do you like Monster Hunter/ Hunter games?
I enjoyed the first God eater, and I intend to play the second and third one. I really enjoyed world, but I fell off after I beat Teostra. That being said, I do enjoy both series to an extent. :)
Its awful and i love fb. In fatal bullet there were almost no micro transactions only a few dlc's. Sao lycoris was is and will always be trash. I tried getting through the story. But it was boring as hell. Not only that but the gameplay was slow and the effects were trash and over the top in your face. If you get hit you'd reeeaaaallly slowly fall to the ground. I mean this is an anime game right. Where the hell is the fast pace fights. And awesome bosses. Not only that but ad one point you'd need to go to different places big maps but there was almost nothing to do or to Explore no big quest no good side quests. Just trash. I've had this in me since i bought the game. It was 60 euro's btw. Like why, this just seems like something a fan would make for fun.

Gundam went in some weird directions...
Lmao
I immediately stopped playing after experiencing the slow combat alone from last year.

Huh... Well now I'm glad I didn't include my rant about it then.

Personally I stopped playing before it came out
You never sourced the music, nwn. Good vid tho
This video SLAPS! Also, shame on Joaquin.
I know right. What a chode.
6:58 where can i find the voice of this, its very potential as a meme source
The source is a tweet but just search the words on TH-cam, you'll find it that way
Hope you make twitch account someday, really want to see you livestreaming any games 👍
I do have one, and I've streamed on it, just really busy that videos is the only thing I can make time for
great content as always. also fatal bullet 2 when??? lol
End game is terrible. They should have made it more of a mmo than action rpg
I just think it's a fun little grind game to play on the side and I like SAO a lot
That's very fair. I didn't doubt for a second that Sao fans would like this way more than I did 😁
ah yes finally,the content:' )

This game was honestly a huge disappointment after Fatal Bullet. FB was the best SAO game by far.
this game has 2 Big problems Live Service and low budget which makes the other worse
Lol 0:02

I'm glad I provided a place for you to get that out. I honestly expected at least one fan of this game by now.
I had a interest in this game cause fatal bullet was so good but yeah ill wait for it to become dirt cheap
lol
