I have done a similar build on my wr250r. I have saved money by redoing my seat myself also have bought cheap parts from aliexpress and nicecnc. You have built a bulletproof lightweight adv bike. The day you sell it is is the first day of regretting😢that decision. $15,0000 is not that much in the scheme of things. You have a reliable, comfortable cheap to run adv bike.

NZ former Traffic cop here. I was cruising along a beach front one day and spotted a hoon on a quad bike doing dangerous stuff on the beach in amongst the people walking. I rode over to some young guys on trail bikes and asked if I could borrow a bike for a minute. One of them agreed and I blasted my way over the dunes to nab that hoon. A public beach is a road in NZ. Ticket. I delivered the trail bike back to it's owner who seemed pretty pleased to have helped me out. Back on my road bike to let the adrenaline settle. Good times !

Well done mate 10.3 is a great time. I’ve never done it and don’t want to sound like a expert but when I’ve been there watching everyone seems to get the revs up high once the second stage light comes on and drops the clutch as the green hits. Yes you’re there for fun and aren’t sponsored so looking after the bike is key. But if it’s just the cost of some clutch plates that will get to into the 9’s, I’d do it.
