How much Power does my 15 year old Sport Bike make after an ECU Flash?
มุมมอง 62814 วันที่ผ่านมา
After one year of ownership, it was time to get a new exhaust on the Suzuki GSX-R 1000 and get the ECU flashed and the motorbike dyno tuned to get some more performance out of it (not that it needed it!). The ECU flash and dyno tuning was performed by Phil over at Phil Tainton Racing. #superbike #supersport #gsxr1000 #gsxr #sportbike #sportbikes #dynotune #horsepower #SuzukiGSXR #MotorcycleMods
Chaos on the Road to the 2024 Phillip Island MotoGP!
มุมมอง 50K21 วันที่ผ่านมา
Myself, my brother and our dad ride our motorcycles from Melbourne to Phillip Island on a group ride with hundreds or maybe even thousands of other motorcycles riding to the 2024 MotoGP event. This wasn’t a ride without incident, and unfortunately we do come across a biker who had crashed which seems to be quite a common occurrence on group rides. All in all though, it was a great day out and w...

I had 4 police dirt bikes chasing me once in Australia in the old Military barracks They had no chance at 😂 amd yeah I did race over 15years
What are they riding,,,,,,Wr,s?
I remember back in the 80s at larbatouch in vic australia , 🇦🇺, we use to bait the dirt cops 😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 This was in Neerim so not too far from there!
Yer they used to chase us all day never caught us though 😂😂

I was running stock gearing here

Thanks heaps mate!

The whole reason I got braces is because of a injury my front tire got traction and pulled the front end out of a rut and strait towards a tree not a big one but big enough to catch the tip of my right foot and twist it backwards nothing broke but over extended stretched the muscles and tendons I had to stop for about 15 mins and then when I got back on the bike not 300 yards down the trail and I had a branch whip my other knee cap I seen starts on that one .lmao . Yha so ever since that day this summer I went and bought a pair of epic EVS KNEE BRACES they are not 600$ knee braces 250 is what I paid from royal distributors in Canada they fit really good and I love the latching system they stay tight and where I put when I put them on which is every time I ride dirt bike I’ve got a WR250F 2023 and YZ250X two stroke that bike is sick
Good to hear you've got yourself a pair of knee races and they are some nice bikes!
Thanks
Dude Australia is super ghey, they nanny you guys so hard

desrt ht front is the worst tyre i've ever ran, and ran lots.
Damn, that’s a shame mate, I really like it compared to the others I’ve ran. What’s your go to?
@@AusMoto i'm running an mt21 at the moment and it's better than the desert ht. but if you want a better tyre and don't mind paying for get a pirrelli scorpion rally mst.
I ran the mt21 front for about 9000k’s and loved the longevity but don’t feel it tracks as well as the desert ht but what do I know haha, I just go off feel and I’m sure everyone feels things a little different 🤷 Thanks for sharing though mate!
@@AusMoto not my experience with the desert ht, that's my biggest complaint with it. it tracks every groove, crack or slightest ridge in the road or track. to the point where it's all over the shop and frustrating.
YES!! By far the best bike adventure I've had the pleasure of watching, thanks. 2 brothers and 2 mates.
Glad you enjoyed it mate and really appreciate that! It's comments like this that make making these videos worth it!
Grate video 🎉
Thanks heaps!
pigz are eeeeverywhere
Rallz front and Adventure rear is my choice for the VHC 🤙
I might have to give that combo a go 🤙
Liking my RallZ at the moment - only had a small test so far but keen for more!
Yeah, I reckon for the bigger adv bikes, the RallZ is probably perfect. I may even run it on my WR on my next big adventure 👌
thank you Josh, I dont ride a dual sport, just enduro and road but will give these a go once I get a dual sport as Im eyeing off the new drz400, just waiting for suzuki to announce it now
No worries, I think coming from enduro, you’ll find these a great compared to other dual sport/adv tyres!
Motoz Rallz front and rear for me, on my second set, love them :)
Give the Desert HTs a go next time 😉
@@AusMoto I most definitely will 😁
As above i used the desert ht for my cape York trip and did about 6 k on it and would have really got 7 k out of it i changed to the rallz and think it is a better tyre as the desert ht get very noisy as it gets down but will stick to the desert ht and rallz for all my rear tyres i have a 701 so alot hp at rear 😂
Yeah, 701 would tear them up pretty quickly 😅😅
I like the Motoz Rallz on the rear of my WR250R and for the huge ride from WA to the Simpson and back next year ( transcontinental access rd flinders ect ) I’ll run rallz rear HT front. Agree on side wall, however on my Tenere I run Mitas, stronger side walls / bitch to get on off. I feel the Mitas are better suited to the middle weight / heavy weight Adventure bikes. Appreciate your review.
Yeah, for my next big adventure I’ll definitely be running the RallZ and agree about the middleweights being suited to a tyre with a stiffer side wall
Hello Josh; Tyres is always a big issue for riders; Tyres reflect what you do on the relevant bike; I do a combination of road and dirt road ( No single tracks or tech stuff) for my rides. At my point in life (Age & Health) my riding has changed so I use Michelin Anakee Adventure tyres because they are good for what I do and I get longevity as in over 15,00kms per set, which is very bloody good... Thanks for your review; David...Adelaide....Triumph Scramblers 1200X and 900.....
I’ve heard great things about the Anakee adventure and sounds like it’s the perfect tyre for your use-case!
thank you very much!
No problems!
Let me know what your favourite tyre is in the comments!
Big bad bikies, who can't ride for shit, travelling in formation...what could possibly go wrong?
Smoothing out the power is well worth it, good stuff mate 😎👌
Thanks mate! 👌
Nice bike and good power and torque gains for just exhaust and cat removal with tune.
Thanks mate! Yeah, super happy with how it turned out and can’t wait to get it out on track 🤙
I was sad I wasn't able to go this year, thanks for recording this so I can experience it thru you! Great vibes and cool to find a vic moto youtuber, keep up the great work 🙏😊💜
Thanks heaps! Yeah, it was great fun, hopefully you can make it out to the next one!

Thanks heaps mate, glad you enjoyed it! If you liked this one, you’ll really like the first big adventure my brother and I went on which was our Googs Tracks adventure. That one’s on the channel if you want to give it a watch 👍
Great looking bike, I have the same done on my GSX S 1000. So much smoother a lower speed. 😎
Thanks mate, it really does make a huge difference!
Nearly bought some 3’s for the colour scheme 😂. Thanks for the heads up. Getting 7’s now 🍻
Glad I could help! Foot injuries suck, so having good boots is super important and the Tech 7's offer a significant amount more protection then the 3's
Congratulations on the crossing. I've been rewatching RidingWithTom's old crossings and this came up, which was cool because I'm thinking of getting a CRF 300. Great video!
Thanks Pedro! The 300 would make a great bike. I think this video demonstrated that, given how well the 250L performed in this adventure and the 300 has some nice upgrades on it, so I think you'll really like it!
Yeah, the full cut-off is something I really wish I could improve on my own bike, I can imagine the difference you're experiencing on your beast,
It made such a big difference!
Nice vid Josh
Thanks Harrison!
I find this so weird. When I started a 15 year old bike was ancient. Horrible to ride, no brakes, awful suspension.
Yeah, I reckon it got to a point where any bike post 2005ish is gonna be solid, as long as it’s been maintained well. Other then electronics, there hasn’t been too much advancements when it comes to engine, brakes, suspension, etc.
well presented mate, the old gsxr's are so good to ride and awesome power for their time. cheers
Thanks mate, I agree!

Go and check out the damaged bike yard in Campbellfield. A eye opener, each damaged bike has a story. I don’t understand why.
I'll have to check it out, sounds interesting!
How tall & heavy are you & what size did you buy
178cm and about 76kg here. I bought a Medium but I probably could have gone with a Small, but I liked to have space underneath for additional layers.
Sad to see someone go down, looks like a fun meet though & those roads look amazing
Yeah, a big shame but a great day overall!
Dunes on a 250cc Dualsport does not sound to appealing. 😂
Definitely hard work haha 😂
That post piss feeling 😆 Great vid mate!
😆😆 thanks mate!
Boring as hell!😉😉😉😉
Cool
wr250r is a low maintenance dirtbike essentially. always loved the look and love how high they sit
Sure is, bloody love mine!
Nice communications between bikes!. Is that bluetooth ?. What range do you get between bikes?. I haven't kept up with the helmet technology. Personally, I avoid all distractions whilst riding. Taking phone calls is a no no.
Thanks, it sure is, we are using the Cardo Freecom 4x units. You get about 1km on clear road with them and honestly couldn't ride without them, essential for me now!
Used to organise trips Adelaide to PI for 4 years in a row, both MotoGP and Wsbk.Started with myself, brother and mate, last trip was 13 on bikes, with my 4x4 towing trailer with all our camping gear and 4 occupants…….You need a good captain, lead rider, who knows the route, use to try a different route each trip and a good back rider, keeps an eye on people who maybe struggling and to pull everyone over for a rest. Most times we pulled into a servo approx every 200 I’m,for fuel, whether anyone needed or not,Got 15/w0 minute rest,a drink and something to eat,was a great solution to fatigue, bum and other miscellaneous pains……..Looking to do next yr,on my 2007 Ducati st3s-abs at 67by/o
That’s awesome mate!
