You are an unusual reviewer. Most would bend themselves in knots to conclude that the bike with all the race parts must be better. I really appreciate when I see someone not care a whit about any of that shit and just ride and tell what they like and didn't like about the ride. Well done sir.

I think this bike was made more than one year but only the 2014 is available in the united states.

Good video, it's always good to see up-front honest reviews especially if you are coming from another bike and testing something new. I tell people all the time, "Test everything" lol you never know what you might like or dislike especially if you will be shelling out some cash.

I just turned 64 and been riding Harley's since I was 15, due to health issues and that I want to keep riding I'm making the switch, I test rode Honda and BMW and I really wanted the BMW, but the Goldwing impressed me more than the BMW.

I am 71 years old and have owned motorcycles since 1967, so I am far from being a beginner. I sold the last Harley I will ever own. I paid $37,000 for it and it broke down four times within the first year. I decided to go back to a Japanese motorcycle, but which one? I've also had a lot of trouble with Yamahas ao they were out of the question. I didn't see anything in the Honda or Suzuki line up that tickled my fancy, so that left Kawasaki. I like the Z650RS but it is physically very small. I also like the Vulcan S, but then there was the Eliminator, I bought the Eliminator SE for $1800 less than I could have bought a Vulcan S and the Eliminator comes with a passenger seat and pegs. I had more fun in the first 60 miles than I had in 160,000 miles on Harleys. The Eliminator is one of the most fun motorcycles I've ever owned. It is light, flickable, quick, (it will easily out run any Harley I ever owned) It handles great and corners great. They say it can top 100 mph (I've only had mine to 86) and it can cruise all day at 80 mph. What else can you want from any motorcycle no matter what the size? Mine gets 65-66 mpg and for full coverage insurance is only $148 a year. My last Harley got 35 mpg and the insurance was $800 a year. Like I said, I am far from being a beginner and I LOVE the Kawasaki Eliminator. I did change the front spocket to a 15 tooth to lower the rpm's at highway speeds (lowered about 500 rpm) and I added a rear carrier and Givi 29 liter top case so I can haul things, I enjoy every ride on it and can hardly wait for the next ride, just like when I was a kid. Thank you Kawasaki for such a great bike, LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL.

I bought a used Vulcan 900 Classic LT (same bike, different styling) after years of riding sports bikes. It is huge and heavy from my perspective. I thought I had ruined the engine because it kept on dying whenever I accelerated. I finally figured out that I was bouncing off the rev limiter. We use our Vulcan as a 2 up touring bike. The brakes are just ok, and I’ve learned that I need to actually use the rear brake. The power is fine, my wife loves the Mustang seat we put in it (stock seat reeks). The bags are marginal. The bike could use a 6th gear. I pretty much agree with your review. The Vulcan is not a “cool” bike by any means. It is the Hyundai Elantra of touring cruisers: perfectly capable, but nothing anyone would lust after. It is simply a well built, reliable, relatively light weight cruiser. It is average in every way. It isn’t fast, it isn’t sporty, and most of all it isn’t a Harley! But I’m not really a cruiser guy. My wife and I like touring together, but she wanted something with a bigger seat and a lot more leg room than my other bikes. We’re not going anymore. We needed something more comfortable. The 900 LT is exactly that. It will haul 2 people down the road at 75 mph in reasonable comfort and great reliability, getting 45-50 mpg while hauling all of our stuff. It’s not my dream bike, but it’s the bike that works, and works well.

I just got a ninja1000sx 2024 model and I love the anytime torque and seating position the most. The brakes, shocks and mirriors are good . The tires are good. I like the quick shifter also. The engine is very smooth. I like how both lights stay on on low beam. The bike is nice looking. I love everything about this bike.

So that doesn't have the characteristic loud Harley sound? It sounds quieter than my 2020 Triumph Bonneville T120, although mine came used with Vance Hines exhaust. And yeah, the only decently sized thing on the display is the speedometer. Everything else is micro in comparison. Maybe there will be an option to update it since it's really nothing more than a computer screen anyway.

You need to educate yourself about the bikes you review rather than guess your way through. If you can't visually distinguish between a liquid cooled and air cooled engine it only demonstrates your ignorance. And they aren't all the same because the floorboards are the same . The Roadmaster and Challenger are different in every way.

How does the comfort of the Road King compare to the CTX 1300? Would you prefer to have the Road King if money were no object? Thank you.

I'm glad you mentioned the price, thats why I purchased 2024z900, and mine is amazing.

I just found a 2014 CTX1300 for 4k with only 11k miles, I'm really thinking about picking it up.

I also have a VFR1200F. If you want a Honda V4 with that feeling of excitement, it's an amazing machine. Still super comfortable for short and medium range rides, also.

I had one of these I bought back in 2016 new. I then sold it when I got a job that provided me free motorcycles to ride. Now, I am at a new job and immediately got one again. I love it. I forgot just how very good it was and it is simply the perfect bike for me. Picked it up from a Powerhouse for $5.5k and under 7k miles. Highly recommend.

How would you compare this bike to the Verseys 650? I am 6'02" 240. Do you think one is better in most categories overall?

They have imperfections it depends on individual needs in a motorbike nonetheless if a manufacturer provides they think an advantage point for all riders that is a major plus and considering your height and weight against the bike it look awkward for us to see i think with a different height and weight that matches this bike will be wonderful DCT is new but there is a huge advantages against manual its just a matter of time

Good video. I have the 2022 SCL with stage 2 and custom Lloydz tune. Makes a big difference. Mine came with the rear shock preload too light, it bottomed out on too many bumps. I adjusted it for myself with my wife on it according to the userss manual and its a lot better ride with no bottoming out. Had to buy the heal toe shifter, back rest and pad. And a backrest relocation kit that adds more room for the passenger from Ultimate Seats. Been riding cruisers for 43 years now, the Super Chief Limited is my favorite one to date. ✌️

The Scout Classic is just simply beautiful with it's sleek styling honouring the past, present and future all in one it's definitely my next bike for sure I'll give it a bit of time for Indian to figure out the bugs if any then I'll commit I've sat on one and it's perfect for me being 5'7 with a 32" inseam First upgrades I'll get (All factory add ons besides 1) - get a comfier seat - install 10" apes with cruise control and analogue speedometer - pop on pop off windshield - Aftermarket 2 into 1 exhaust to make her growl And wala that's all she wrote

Did the seat slant you forward too much? I took a newer version on a demo ride last year. I liked everything about it. However, I could not buy it because the seat slanted me forward.
