for legal reasons, certainly get your license. I tell everyone I know to take the MSF course. But, if im being completely honest, I don't think the msf course, at least the basic one, actually does much for you in day to day riding. I had already been riding with a motorcycle learners mermit for a few months at that point. good slow speed skill but i dont thing it translates enough into what we encounter on the street.

Like I said in the video, it’s not gonna make a huge change right away. BUT meeting other experienced riders and leaving with a list of do’s and dont’s at the end can be very beneficial. I know when I went to make MSF Course I was very nervous but having them walk through step by step calmed my nerves and allowed me to really learn.
