Know Your Personality to STOP Making the SAME MISTAKES
Understanding your personality is one of the most important steps in building a life that aligns with who you are.
When you understand your strengths, you can lean into them and create a life that feels more effortless and fulfilling.
At the same time, becoming aware of your blind spots helps you avoid repeating the same mistakes and consciously develop weaker areas.
This video dives into the Big Five personality traits-extroversion, agreeableness, neuroticism, conscientiousness, and openness-offering a deep look at how these traits shape your life.
We explore the neurological and evolutionary basis of each trait and discuss how understanding where you fall on these spectrums can help you thrive.
You’ll learn why extroverts seek stimulation from social interactions while introverts prefer solitude, and why people high in agreeableness are empathetic but may struggle with boundaries.
We also look at how neuroticism is tied to emotional reactivity, why conscientiousness predicts success, and how openness drives creativity and exploration.
Whether you’re highly extroverted or deeply introverted, emotionally stable or prone to stress, understanding your personality can help you design a life that works for you.
If you’re curious to explore your own personality and develop both your strengths and weaknesses, this video is for you.

You Need a Vision: Depression Hits When We Lose Meaning & Hope
มุมมอง 1.5K12 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Depression can leave life feeling empty and pointless, with meaning slipping away and hope fading. Without purpose, it’s like we’re endlessly rolling a boulder uphill, only for it to fall right back down. As Viktor Frankl put it, “He who has a why to live can bear almost any how.” When suffering is in service of something, even the hardest struggles become bearable. This video unpacks why findi...
Why Anxiety & Chronic Stress Are Making You Depressed
มุมมอง 93914 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Anxiety and chronic stress often set the stage for depression, putting the nervous system in a constant state of overdrive. When we’re under intense stress for long periods, both the mind and body become exhausted, making us more vulnerable to slipping into depression. Robert Sapolsky explains how chronic anxiety wears down our mental defenses, making depression feel almost inevitable. Learning...

Attachment wounds and trauma go hand-in-hand with depression, often rooted in early relationships with caregivers. Toxic feminists are a threat to national security. They sow the discord that messes up the reproductive cycles needed to perpetuate the family unit, which in turn has *everything* to do with providing strong men to defend Western society. The women in the video answering "men aren't needed" are fundamentally "brain on auto-pilot" ignorant. Like these women will be the ones fighting off the Chinese when they finally decide to attack America. 🤣🤣🤣

I really appreciate the extended breakdown of Big 5. Finding information about the less academically explored systems (technically Socionics has been - just not in North America), a few of which were mentioned at the start, sometimes seems easier than accessing solid info about Big 5. Hopefully we'll be able to properly study many of those other systems in the future. They all feel a bit like animation cels from cartoons or the early Disney movies. Each system provides a look at a layer of our personality. Knowing just one tends to lead to the "I have a hammer so every problem is a nail" situation. The split breakdown of each characteristic was something I had not heard before. Certain things make a bit more sense when it's been separated like that.

Here’s my problem with these messages. Yeah, men aren’t toxic. Sure. But that CAN’T be the message. Rejecting a negative isn’t the same as propping up the positive. People need to say “wow, I LOVE being a man, it’s actually amazing to be one”

There is a meme that sums up modern women. Three A's all modern women want: The authority of a man. The advantage of a woman. The accountability of a child. Because even remotely calling out women's bad behaviour or toxicity gets you labeled the usual labels simply to negate certain facts about women they don't like. Modern censorship and the destruction of the west is done by feminists that are bitter about the past and now want to shape the future into a facist state.

Great video as usual. Really enjoyed the media references for each trait and facet. The dopamine system underlying Intro/Extraversion was really interesting. Are extraverts are more likely to get addicted, having to rely on external sources in the first place? Does constant ambient dopamine lead introverts to become depressed more often? I find it difficult to see some of these traits as oppositional spectra. I'm commonly identifying with aspects of both ends, sometimes extremely, simultaneously. Total aside, but does anyone have an invisible secretary in their head? Like a person or function in the background that tracks time quite accurately, and handles background tasks that you aren't consciously doing? There's a lot on this regarding working or sleeping on a problem and "solving it" while you take a break from consciously thinking about it. But more personally for example, I can think to myself "Wake up at 8", or will set an alarm for 8 before going to sleep, and I'll just automatically wake up at that time before the alarm almost every time.

I really resent the moniker of toxic masculinity. I absolutely believe there is such a thing, but I think the phrase has been highjacked by progressives such that ANY masculine behavior is construed as "toxic masculinity". I have often wondered, "Is there a toxic femininity? What is it? What does it look like? How come it is never mentioned?" This video was great in regard to addressing some of those questions.

Another more important point, is to be a little more careful to tagging types of personalities to certain types of behaviors. Although this affirmation is more often than not correct, there are more than a 1000 types of variations in-between the types of personalities. Each one of us a unique recipe of all the messy inputs we get on life.

You make very good points. Still, you really need to include the real financial, legal, emotional, threats. To say nothing of the realistic threat of women divorcing us 77% of the time because their not happy. Worse, many women marry, having already decided to end marriage 10 tears down the line. Also, 15-30% of married men are raising kids by a man his wife cheated on and then sailed merrily on without a shred of guilt. Women are extremely good at deception and, using her husbands trust, can maintain this charade for 10 to 20 years.

Love the content and the underlying model! The model definitely seems to correlate with the fundamental substrate of human personality. These are more than just categories-they're truths about how personality operates. However, it got me thinking. I would guess that there are overlays that affect personality from a holistic perspective, skewing all aspects of it. I've thought of two examples: Total Energy Levels: A person’s overall energy might push a typical extrovert to become bubbly or, conversely, cause an industrious individual with lower energy to burn out after eight hours of work compared to someone who thrives for twelve hours. Object vs. Relationship Oriented Thinking: I haven’t fully teased this one out, but I notice significant differences between people with an engineering mindset versus a social mindset. While this strongly aligns with the extroversion and openness dimensions, it would likely affect others as well. For example, it might influence how anxiety manifests in a neurotic person. These are just thoughts. Does anyone see the same?

A young man who receives wealth (money) without working hard for it won’t value that wealth; he will lack virtue. Similarly, a young woman’s 'wealth' is her beauty. Since beauty is acquired without effort, she may not value it and, as a result, lack virtue. When men are drawn to a woman for her beauty, she may give it away freely (through sex) because she does not value it. Furthermore, the more beautiful she is, the more likely she is to attract men who can easily access her beauty-such as handsome or wealthy men. However, since these men represent only a portion of the population and tend to obtain her beauty with little effort, they often do not propose to her. This occurs because she fulfills two of the three natural human needs (physical needs and social needs). Without the incentive of commitment, these men see no reason to offer long-term stability. The issue arises because physical needs (sex or gifts) are short-lived, and social needs (such as money) are often withheld by these men, leaving her without a reason to secure a committed relationship. When a woman begins to lose her natural wealth-her beauty-around the age of 30, she starts to realize its true value she once had. She becomes aware, through what we call the 'social mirror' (the feedback society provides about her worth), that rich and handsome men no longer value her as they once did because they now have better options. At this point in her life, her priorities shift from 'physical needs' (such as gifts, sex, etc.) to 'social needs' (such as a stable home, marriage) and 'sentimental needs' (such as having children and seeking safety). However, to acquire these new needs, she must understand the concept of supply and demand. This means she must recognize what the men who are willing to provide these needs are looking for in a partner and adjust accordingly. However, modern society, with its emphasis on lust (through social media, celebrity lifestyles, materialism, etc.), has made these women delusional. Their natural wealth and the easy life they experienced in their 20s lead them to believe that life will always be easy, and someone will always be there to take care of them. They fail to recognize that when they engage in casual relationships with such men, they are essentially 'giving without receiving.' This delusion blinds them to the reality that society is not designed to protect their interests-they must take responsibility for that themselves. Although reality often delivers a wake-up call over time, they tend to cling to the illusion that as long as their feelings provide them happiness, they are making the right decisions. This mindset leads them to selectively accept only the facts that align with their desires, labeling them as truth.

You can basically go into a lot of famous songs from the 70s 80s and especially modern ones Hip Hop etc on and look at each song totally different. I call it howling music. Its just Like Howling dogs to me now. All are anthems to Hypergamy and in 2024 we see the result where there isn't even dating anymore. Where do we go now? It has to pop. The mass of society realizing what Woke really is will be the start. Anyone who has been in a relationship with a BPD or an NPD and suffered for example female violence inflicted on men (be it emotional or verbal or both or other forms) will know it even more. To have a real relationship you almost need to treat them on the level of a pet to some instance and the rare 1940s virtue responsible and loving woman is long gone or a rare find. It is often long gone just like the morals of those generations who had a lot more to deal with than we do now.

I'm curious how much you think that we can deviate from our "nature." For example, Victor Frankl's The Last of Human Freedom's? How much can we "choose" to act outside of our natural tendencies? I've been working, for about 5 years, to change aspects of my "personality" that have caused me some problems in the past. It's very challenging. As Dr. Dispenza says, "you have to think about, what you're thinking about," ALL OF THE TIME!! Lol!! It does get easier over time. Lot's of meditation and working on being present. I don't like Woke culture either. But I think it's an exaggeration to trace the origin of woke culture back to the French Revolution. And I think you forget that savage capitalism is also bloody and provokes wars in order to then appropriate the resources of the defeated countries. And don't forget that american capitalism was founded on slavery and the genocide of the Indians. And this is not a myth. What is your utopia?. Socialism does not necessarily have to be achieved by revolution or civil war. The European welfare states have some socialism in their system. And far from being violent, they have ensured peace.I hardly ever heard a woke talk about socialism. I debt they have any idea what it is. I like your videos.

As a NON-christian American man, while I do tend to fall into the more heteronormative societal role, I don't go for imposing gender roles on people, nor any of the bs machismo my generation x had to put up with. Well I do agree with you that men need to be able to talk about men issues without being demonized and asked, "when did you start hating women!?" I could definitely live without all the christian propaganda and faith-based bs either. I agree that boys need good strong male role models, but they don't have to be pillars of the church in order to be that. Nor do they even need to be religious at all. Religion doesn't make a man, a man makes a man, and most importantly a man makes himself, but he could use help getting there.

For the record. In the US the rich get richer, and the poor do get poorer. The middle class has all but evaporated, and now we have the working poor. You aren’t given proper pay, adequate raises for cost of living, no reward for employee of the month, and no bonuses. Your full time job just makes you the working homeless. Unless you’re living with your parents. University will put you 100k+ in student loan debt, a hospital visit is an apocalyptic expense. Inflation is, and will continue to be an issue. The standard of living has just gone down again. It doesn’t look very good.

I'm sorry, but you're wrong. Not about the points your making, but that these are the reasons why dating is problem today. These are minor players that barely contribute. The real issue is internet combined with evolutionary biology. They don't mix. I'm just old enough to have seen the progression from the days of corded phones and pagers to cellphones and internet. When women can go to a space where they can privately select men based on "stats" and looks, they will all choose the same tallest hottest men. That's not negativity, it is objective reality. It used to be that people met through friends, family, and intermingling social circles. Yeah, the tallest hot guys always had the hot girl. But dating was under the public eye. He wasn't finding girls online. He had to talk to them in public. If he was a 9-10 guy, he usually dated a girl that was a 9-10. And sleeping with a 6 would risk him losing his 9-10. He couldn't sleep with the 6 by sliding into her DMs and inviting her over on the DL. He was held to account because he was dating a friend's family member, or at least the popular chick in his hometown. What this meant was 9-10 guy was taken. If 6 girl wanted a man in her life, she was practically forced to actually interact with guys of her own level and choose from them. Now those guys have experienced what a waste of time trying to date is for them, so they are at home playing video games, while 6 girl is getting her back blown out by one 9-10 after another and crying between each one about how there are no good guys out there who will commit to her. Now add on to that that society has convinced every human with a vagina that they are at least an 8 or better, when simple math tells us that at least 50% are actually <5.5, and you have a real problem.

interesting, boys normally are physically rough and physically adventurous, perhaps the more cerebral not so much. Way back when boys were allowed to settle some things like over the top dirty play in sports with a fight without parents being summoned or suspensions being handed out or generally being treated like a capital crime. It allowed a boy to gain self respect for sticking up for himself even if the fight was lost. Do boys even play together outside anymore and build something together whether a soapbox racer with wheels and tools from here or there or their fort, for building members only. or is it all screentime now? It used to be that boys were encouraged to acquire knowledge that they were interested in but it seems parenting for boys is now given over to screentime. Men do a lot better when they get control over their "urges" that women control. Australia the home of the Ministry of Men's Behaviour!? Society is building to where men will completely withdraw from participation with the huge double standards now in play. As a lad I can clearly remember the adult women in the family discussing feminist novels like "Fear of Flying' etc.. It often looks to me that children, both boys and girls, are offered up to the state as if for pagan sacrifice by their obedient parents. What does it do for a woman's psyche knowing she can ruin any man's reputation/life with a single accusation? What some men have termed "walking false accusation dispensers." which is noted seriously by other men.

Feminism has been so normalized it has been baked into the current culture. The Duluth model is the law. Women are empowered equals to men and simultaneously allergic to accountability for their poor chooses.
