- Conscientiousness is the personality trait that predicts success through discipline, organization, and hard work.
In this video we spoke about:
• The spectrum from highly industrious, organized people to those who prefer flexibility and spontaneity.
• The two facets of conscientiousness: industriousness (work ethic and productivity) and orderliness (desire for structure and cleanliness).
• How conscientiousness shapes ambition, perfectionism, and even political preferences.

Shockingly succinct and thorough.
Beautifully spoken. Eye opening in fact. Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it! ✨
great analyzation and illustrious examples
I've been enjoying your content. Keep up the good work.
Highly appretiate the correlation you drew between political leaning and conscientiousness, having the underlying variables of quest for structure, order and definitions. Once we understand this correlation then many many things fall in place.
Thanks Roni. I used to confuse conscientiousness with agreeableness, because to me, someone who is dutiful and conscientious would in most cases agree to do what is right without a qualm.
Always enjoy your videos. Would really be interested in you doing a video about your political ideas.
Any hints for people with high conscientiousness on how to relax?
The virtue behind conscientiousness is prudence. The opposite is imprudence or foolishness. Industriousness is the virtue of diligence. The opposite vice of dilligence is acedia or sloth. Colloquially, sloth is called laziness.
Chag Hanukkah Sameach Roni! Love your content, keep it up!
Cool cheers 🍺
If you’re an insider you get success if you don’t you get crumbs whatever you do
Aka good jobs are never advertised.
2:18 personality type and notion
There's a famous TH-camr who opined: "There's no imposter syndrome, you're just not prepared." And that thought comes to mind when I watch this video...
But thats not correct. Imposter syndrom is the result of high achievement but low self-worth - this causes a inner contradiction, also called cognitive dissonance which is in this case the imposter syndrome
Yeah lots of chicks use I S as a false humility manipulation. When really, they ARE in fact diversity hires

Femma Watson?
People with high intelligence but low in conscientiousness, have a name - they are villains.
Being conscientious got me nowhere. It nearly destroyed my career. There were too many evil people around me who were unconscientious, it was impossible to fit in and thrive. Sabotages came right and left from these people.
There were other choices to make
I would disagree... I think conscientiousness is a personality trait that predicts failure.
Because the great majority of people around conscientious individuals, are evil and unconscientious. And they will ostracize and ruin people who are conscientious.
To succeed in life, you need to be unconscientious.
Sounds like someoneeee was too conscientious and it almost ruined his careeeeeeeeeeeeeeer. My dude, you have to, just HAVE to be a little bit evil to be successful. Look at the most successful athletes for example and how toxic they are. To rise to the top you have to be cutthroat.
@@Iksvomid You're proving my point. You have to be evil to succeed. That's exactly what I was saying.
