Thank you Senior. After a few tries and following your directions. I got it to work. I did have to do the manual pull of the lock button at the same time as exercising the internal switch . The lock actuator died after many tries. It all worked out just great. BTW this is in a 2000 4R. SR5 . Thanks again .

thinking about changing mine for the first time on my 98 runner with 150k miles. Have you found any oil is better than another for best fuel economy? I am not sure what type of oil was used in my last oil change. thank you for your help and god speed.

There was no driver on the red truck

I got the doors to lock and unlock but the rear window will not go up and down by the key fob, any help with that.

I've gotten so used to that play in the pedal that it feels wrong when other cars don't have it. Never plan on fixing it lol

Thank you a bunch, my 98 4 Runner works great with the key, but only rolls down with the center consul switch, after stumbling on to your video here I when right out and popped that rubber boot off and found the Red wire broke in half, That was the problem. 2 other wires are about to break. You saved me a lot of frustration. Thank you and keep up the good work. Jeff 🤠

Sorry downstream oxygen sensor gasket leaking.

P0420 is cat efficiency. A exhaust leak downstream of car will trigger this code or failed converter. Toyota’s are common for the downstream cat gasket leaking ( also pulling air in while exhaust pulse travels back to valve). Personally have never changed downstream 02 for “420 codes”. But would suspect old gasket

I noticed when a new bulb is installed it’s so difficult to put back in the mounting spot….Because I used a 74 bulb🤦🏽‍♂️ 2721 is the correct Bulb for the shifter guys. Thanks for the video!

I hope they don't endanger any other drivers by blinding them. There is already enough of that.

In the cheat sheet it says to hold the lock button for 2s. In the video you do the unlock button. Got my 1996 Prado turbo diesel to go into programming mode but the $22 fobs didn’t work. 😢 Great instructions though. Thank you 🙏
