Awesome build! I am definitely going to do this. One tip that might be helpful: before you use the 2 x 4 to bend the mesh, cut off a half inch from the long side of the 2 x 4 so that you have perfect 90° corners with no rounded radius. When you bend your mesh, it might help you have a tighter mesh bend with less round over. Using the knowledge you gave me I have already improved my new/old forerunner in many ways. Yo you should try to mess around with rustoleum high performance matte black, stuff is really durable and the finish is awesome! I use it on all my projects for my 4runner. Grill looks awesome btw, I’m going to take my hand at putting one together soon so I’ll be referencing your video a decent bit haha

Nice job on this! I've seen a couple of these builds on YT, and I keep noticing something looks off on the others, and I realize now that it is the way the mesh is "set" inside the grill. A lot of the other builds have the mesh "recessed," i.e., they install theirs to fit in the back part of the grill. I think the way you've done it to fit in the front looks much better.
