at the last minute of this video, it was just the head gasket ? Cuz my 23hp Briggs has the same issue, smoke coming out from both valve
How hard is it to clean these carbs I'm new to the Briggs and Stratton engine it was running good but the guy didn't drain the old gas from the tractor and it started popping through the carburetor I figured the carburetor picked up some dirt from the old gas
What tires are you running on the back
the pushing the tire down as you mount it was what I was missing until I watched this video. thank you.
This is how all videos should be. Right to the point with very clear explanation and video.
Mine has been working well but after dismounting a few stock car tires and leaning on the bar pretty hard, I've bent mine slightly. It now leans away from the bead breaker. The bar never bent at all, nor did the bead breaker deform. The base bent a bit. I think I'll straighten it back up and weld a pipe or square tube from the base up to just under the platform. Also, I just use the one bar, but if it is a tough tire I'm fighting, I'll start prying one way then swap the bar to the other side of the post, and pry the other way. Do this a time or two and off it comes pretty easy.
Ya they can need some reinforcement lol. Try 2 bars makes it much better. Thanks for watching and the comment. Merry Christmas
Think you I have a 222 the clutch was missing found a used one but slips .now l can fix it.

Gordy, this work on my 7020 too? I’m nervous about dumping $20 bucks worth of oil into that bolt hole by the gas tank 😂
every one told me them motors are hard to work on... to me them motors are easy.... good video
Agree they are the easiest for sure! Thanks for watching and the comment!!
Good video, thanks.. question, I’m new to case tractors, I’m coming from cub cadet. Im assuming factory was 20w40, I did the oil change exactly how you did but using 15w40 Schafer 700 diesel oil. I have the case 224 so I did not have the filter. Would you be concerned with the 15w40 getting mixed in because I’m sure that all the factory oil was not completely out of the system. Is there a concern there or should I be good? I probably got about of gallon and a half of the factory stuff out and it still looked pretty clean. I bought the tractor from a single owner older guy that took care of the machine.. TIA
@@tylerhoertsch1240 hi no you should have no issues at all, we run diesel or racing oil and Schaeffer's is great stuff, 15 40, 20 50, 5 50, 15 50, 5 40 all are fine. Thanks for watching and the comments
Is there much of a reliability difference between the case and the ingersoll when they bought them out? Like having the filter making a big difference? Anyone ever install an aftermarket filter system on the case?
@@tylerhoertsch1240 No they are basically the same machine not much change over the years, yes people ad filters to them. But they do fine without but filters are a added benefit. Thanks
This is your 1st video? WOW!!! What an awesome job. Congratulations to you AND your camera crew. I plan on buying one of those "mini tires changers" because you made it look like it was soooo easy. Keep up the good work because, "Old Dogs Can Learn New Tricks".

Hi Yes replace the bearings. We have videos on how to rebuild deck. And parts available at Caseingersolltractors.com You can email or call if you need help or chat on website. Thanks
Wonderfully clear, complete, informative video - and well filmed so I could see what you were talking about. I wish you had a video on Wisconsin/Zenith, but your generic tips will be very useful. TY!

My 222 has a grease fitting on the other side. I see no grease on that pin, that's the problem.
The grease fittings are on the axle itself above the pin on all models... Thanks for watching.
Do you have a video with changing the lift side? Mine broke and I need to fix it. Thanks for any help.
Hi they are changed the same way, you use this heavy duty linkage for the lift as well or we have the stock linkage at caseingersolltractors.com too
Excellent video ! I have a 75 446 and have the snowcaster clog up with heavy wet snow occasionally . When the video gives the tips it states graphite painted chute …… is that just dry graphite from an aerosol can sprayed in the chute ?

You never showed it run again. That's odd.
It ran before... Ran after... Pleanty videos of them running. Video was a how to, did not need to add length of the video if running before was not a major issue. Thanks for watching.

Hi right at caseingersolltractors.com thanks
Just finished rebuilding my 48”LH for my 446. Glad I found this channel and the parts I got from y’all were all quality. Great video keep up the good work. I found it easier to assemble the hubs and bearings before installing the hubs on the deck.
Glad you found it to and thank you for supporting us by getting your parts from us. Yes, if not replacing the hubs you don't even have to remove them. But in the videos we try to show as much as we can and many possible scenarios even if current situation in video actually requires them or not. But yes just bolting on pre assembled hubs it's easiest. Thanks again!
Ideas are great help. Do you have one on brake/ parking brake for the 446 tractor? I couldn’t find one.

@@CathNcamo2 Its one of the many on the to do list lol, tie, time time. Thanks!
The tractor with laoder weighs 1130lbs. So with weight bucket and tires, you around 2000lbs.
Sorry but you don't know the facts lol.... There is 750 lbs in the weight box as stated, plus the box and 3 point so there's around 925 there total... The tired have around 8 gallons each of liquid in each so roughly another 150 there. The reinforced bucket and teeth was probably another added 75 or more. The webbed and gusset rear over standard rear with backhoe axles roughly another 75 lbs. So roughly 1250 added lbs so like I said around 3000 lbs with operator actually I would say over by a good amount...... Thanks for watching and the opportunity to get in detail again and educate about the weight of this machine.
Very informative, thank you

I had a problem like this but it made a sound like it was grinding the flywheel gears. Went to the trouble to remove the starter ( on the 446 is a lot of work to get to) and had it rebuilt but still had the same problem. Finally found out it was a bad ground connection!

Great video. Thanks for all the tips I wished I'd been privy to before I added a tube to my slow-leaking, 12" 1999 Murray lawn tractor rear tire. Yes, it fought me but I inflicted more damage to it than it did to me. For its final revenge, the valve stem sucked inside the rim and disappeared after I pressurized it. I did not curse. I had expended all those words already just getting the tube in there. After my thumb heals, I plan to attach the tire to the mower and ride if it holds air. What could go wrong? Looking forward to my next Harbor Freight tool. I wonder if I could fix that leaking rear tire on my 1972 David Brown Selectamatic 880. Do you live anywhere near Ducktown, TN?

@Corkoth55 thanks let us know if you have any questions. We have lots more tractor inventory than whats posted on web site. Over 50 machines here. Thanks for watching and the comment!
@@caseingersolltractorsnortheast Sure! What size mowers are available for the garden tractors? I think I see 48 at the most.
@Corkoth55 Depends on model but 48 is most popular, 38, 44 and some 60 were also available
more and more i see, the more i like your machines. I'm in the state. Maybe one day i'll have one of your machines. Brand new JD 300 series already going in for warranty work at 30 hours. Can't make this stuff up. seems like you never get what you pay for anymore on new stuff. nice machine. i like the new 4023. Hot rod.
@Corkoth55 thanks set up a time to chat and come check things out give us a ring any time!
I see that this video was done a year ago ,but was hoping you could answer a question for me. I noticed you had a sleeve hitch adapter . How do you have that hooked to the splitter ?
@toolman1962ful have a hitch the goes on the adapter like a sleve hitch implement would. Thanks for watching and the comment!
Wouldn't it be easier removing the engine and the pump at the same time?
@lawsonstallings1955 no because pump has to come off anyway. Then would have to remove all hoses and drain fluid. Thanks for watching and questions.
I had a 87 case 444 I think I think it was a 14 horse Kohler single cylinder if I'm correct but I love that tractor. I had a 44-inch belly deck on it and then I bought the vacuum attachment. It was a leftover I bought it in 1988 and I had a lawn business in Western Mass
@rickwhite3181 They are great machines every one who gets rid of one misses them. Thanks for watching and comment neighbor.
