Here we show you how we rebuild or reseal small hydraulic cylinders in a multi-part series for different cylinders used on these machines. THIS video we reseal a power steering cylinder used on late model Case Ingersoll 648 all 6018, 6020, 7020 loaders and backhoe tractors. Examples will be on Case Ingersoll Garden Tractors and Loaders. However, procedures and practices will hold true on most small hydraulic cylinders regardless of application. Great video, thanks for sharing. Do you guys rebuild the older style welded cylinders for 4 digit tractors or do you just replace with a new one?

Hi, we rebuild many cylinders but the welded ones are not really cost effective to rebuild between labor and kits even though the replacements are not cheap . But for not a whole lot more you get a new rebuildable cylinder.
We did come up with a high quality replacement rebuild kit for the later 4000 3000 power steering cylinders that are rebuild able seeing the ridiculous OEM kit cost over $400 we had to come up with an affordable solution for our customers that is MUCH chesper!
