As always, thanks again for another informative video. This is my favorite TH-cam channel. When I used to work in a hydraulic shop I used to prick punch adjacent parts, especially on pumps and motors, so I could ensure correct orientation during reassembly. Your videos are so helpful in showing people that they don't need to be intimidated in doing these repairs themselves.

Thanks so much for the kind words and watching, yes great habit, we do it too as to mark parts as to mating or assembling. Thanks again.

Great video. Here I am up at 3:00 am drinking coffee and watching your video 👍🏻.
I know I could do that now. But at the moment neither of mine are leaking. But great to know how to do it and where to get parts. I think I’d have a 4” or 6” block of wood with a hole big enough to for the rod to set in and have the cylinder set on that while putting the piston in. Maybe even better just a hole in the bench. Just a thought. May not be any good.
Do you put a temporary rod in the keep the end in while in shipping back to customers, just so the end doesn’t fall out. Or does that matter.
Thanks for your time to do these videos. There great.
    Have a good day.

Hi bud, thanks as always for watching and commenting even at 3 am lol. The vice is handy and works good and good height. and with a ll different sizes we do the bench would look like swiss cheese lol. But its great idea if only doing a couple sizes. No we dont put a rod in, as tey take some force o move once installed, and they are packed tight an good. Have a good one buddy!

Awesome video! I was wondering if you have a reseal kit for the power steering cylinder on a early 3016ps with the welded cylinder or if it's even possible to rebuild one? I didn't see one on your website.

Hi thanks, we are working on rebuild kits for the tractors ps cylinders. But the welded ps one has to be cut a rewelded unfortunately. Not sure if we will put together a kit for them as demand is very low, buy we may lol. Thanks again for watching and the comment. Keep an eye out on our site for the tractor ps kits, we do have loader ps kits.

Are you able to repair them? If so, how much does it usually cost? I'm not exactly sure that it's leaking yet. It might be just a hose. Will the newer ones that are rebuildable directly replace the older style?

@@user-st7iw8zm3t unfortunately there is no cost effective option. If you can find a new cylinder it should work fine.
