We need to push for national legislation in every country where the PBCC is that says any non profit church or school that actively covers up and refuses to report sexual offenses by their members automatically loses their non profit status for one year at every institution they run in a nation. This is the only way they will ever take these crimes seriously. They could give two shits about protecting children. They only care about saving face and their money!

Hey first of all - thankyou so much Cassie and Ben for sharing your stories. I'm not EB or ex EB myself, but I have lived at a rural address right next door to a EB business for over 30yr here in NZ. And before more recent times (whereby we have been shat on multiple times by them - they seem to be getting worse in their lack of integrity and treatment of non EBs with every generation!) I had a lot more to do with them on a daily basis. They even used to have their fax machine hidden in my garage during the period a fax was required but not permitted (lol). Hearing your accounts has joined many of the dots and made sense of many of the weird things I have seen and noticed over the years (I'm quite sure we could have some fascinating conversations). I can see now after hearing Cassie speak that the young teenage girl who seemed to have a real spark for life who our EBs next door were bringing to work with them for a while quite a few years back was more than likely someone who had been whisked away from her own family for isolation and "corrective" measures. She was being continually watched/tailed, and was being strongly discouraged from speaking with me, or showing any interest in anything I was doing ( at the time I was sighting in a rifle and she was really interested to have a shot with it). She even mentioned she had been caught using her cell phone in the loo and had had it confiscated. Meanwhile the EBs following her around were telling me she was "mental" and not to take any notice of her. Now I have some regret I didn't understand what the actual situation might have been as I do now. As possibly we could have helped her in some way. One thing I want to ask (just incase it might plant a seed!) - is have you (particularly Cassie) ever thought about the possibility of a movie being made of the experiences you have detailed here? I mean what an amazing storyline and movie that could make!. And imagine how many people it would reach and help!! All the best in life!

Theordinary Brethren particularly in UK have no idea how much wealth the RICH brethren have.I knew this in the late fifties /sixties.There was a clear division of wealth.

This money is nauseating.

Unbelievable wealth.

Homemade goods were sold.Brandy butter ,ginger beer, handmade goods ,handyman jobs .All was enc😮outraged to make money for The Lord. This was 60s.

One key tell about BDH and his claims to be the MOG as false, if he could Devine, he would know young people that act out either by dressing a little more provocative as girls or rebellious as boys are highly likely to have been sexually or physically abused. Instead he has a demeaning, sneering comment to make behind her back! That’s not Christ like! Just a man with an elevated opinion of his own opinion.

I was an employee of OSGlobal and they used these same tactics, especially against female employees in leadership. Bullying is normal in their culture, and totally accepted. I was even approached by a local leader to fire a teacher, without cause, except that their child "did not like them." That is illegal, but they do not care.

This is an abuse of power and is terrible, period. It is lies used to intimidate, but KUDOS to this young person for their steadfastness in the face of this intimidation.

There is a give-away in the phone statements that is used multiple times - "our brand". This 'religion' is a business first and last. Faith or a faith system is never "a brand".

I found this difficult to watch, the young man was marvellous the way he kept his calm. Mick Strange was atrocious.

These guys are so clueless about computers. Of course when you share screens you can see what the other person is trying! I know this and I’m not a techie! Typical peeb ignorance! You know is what, call the fire marshal every time and every day they have special meetings! If they want to play hard ball, stick it to them! Some translations say not to use the word IDIOT, the Darby translation is "Raca (stupid worthless, a term of contempt) but whoever shall say Fool shall be subject to penalty of the hell of fire." So there you go Mick, guess you condemned yourself. I had to sit through this in a few sessions it was so incredibly upsetting. Young man, be blessed!! You exposed the evil doers so well. Their screaming at you, all 4 talking at once is mind boggling. Clearly they did NOT want you to "get right" - they were absolutely paranoid that you would expose all their deceit to the police; and were scared silly because they did not have the knowledge to track what you had done. Having escaped them myself I can imagine being in his shoes, the frustration leading to being provocative and saying something he didn't do, just to get attention from a group of people that he was clearly begging for help from, who were very likely ignoring his desperate plea for help because it's just too troublesome, who then once he did have their attention, not only turned on him in such a controlling and abusive manner, but also drag his father into it too. People with horrific mental health issues like the brethren, issues created through what has been decades of mental conditioning through fear, will always exist. Escaping, having therapy, and building a life that extends upwards and away from the awful existence that you once knew, is the best thing you can ever do. You are not stupid, you're an incredible human, if only for asking questions and being creative in your desperate need for change. Sending love.

My advice to anyone dealing with UBT or OSC get a lawyer before any of these “commercial priestlies”! Why are they mixing church and commercial businesses? Why is this even a "priestly"? Computer access in your employment may be an HR or even a disciplinary matter but what is it to do with the Church & "going to Hell"?. The PBCC have muddled up every strand of their own & other's lives. Leaving nearly 50 years ago was the best thing I ever did. The teenager remained remarkably calm & restrained. Ironic that Bruce Hales labels ex members as unstable people. Like as if that's somehow only a slight on those leavers own personality alone, and of no reflexion at all whatsoever on anything more than that. And in turn therefore along the way "freely" manages to also make complete fools out of all the brethren members own ignorance, as well too. Which is terribly sad outcome. Around the 1 hour mark, they equate Mr. Hales with the father of the prodigal son (who is meant to represent God biblically). Saying just as the father wouldn’t think less of the returning son, Mr Hales wouldn’t think less of him either. It’s essentially calling Hales God. One could argue they meant Hales as Gods representative but they didn’t mention God at all in the metaphor. Using a parable about the heart of God to sinners and making it to be about Hales!

It was quite difficult to understand what was going on over all the threats. What I understood was that the kid used some form of keylogger to steal an employee password, and then pretended that he hacked UBT. That being said, if UBT is lacking some form of 2FA and if the user he got the password from had some privileged admin rights, that is a most serious security breach.

PBCC bullying. Coercive control. Even after 50 years it was still a trigger. My head was thumping, my body hot.. that feeling that you want to run but you can’t. Middle aged men trying to control. To me he was challenging to them because he was intelligent. No police would be allowed to interrogate like that. It was really interesting hearing the summation at the end by the Counsellor. I found it interesting that they wanted him to leave it to the Lord but they certainly weren’t prepared to leave this suspected breach to the Lord to deal with. It was the normal sort of “no win” situation that most priestlies would have. Listening from an “out” perspective is quite different. No way can I normalise now like when I was in. It is disgusting behaviour.

What a great podcast. I liked the 3 layers to it, especially ending with the expert which gave language to the multitudes of abuse happening in the phone call. I found it extremely insightful and helpful to help me understand my own situation and the way my ex-partner emotionally manipulatively talked/s to me. Thank you so much to everyone involved ❤

ok im only 8 minutes in but immediately SO clear and sure about taking legal action over something that affects their 'business' and money side of things, and yet we all know how slack and slow they are to involve the law over sexual abuse and abuse of all other kinds. i dont even care if the kid did what theyre accusing him of its ridiculous

In retrospect, that makes us very grateful to have escaped what the EB's have become!!

I apologize for the multiple comments but I gotta point out: This kid tells a lie to elicit a reaction. And the PBCC machine, who have habitually told lies to elicit reactions e.g about Aberdeen for example, cannot take it. This kid learned to lie, from a gang of astute liars who are now masters of lying. Strange. Not really.

When a bunch of middle age men who have never had an original thought in their lives are outsmarted by a 19 year old they grasp at straws and call him dumb and naive; now that’s a bit rich! Judging by the collective IQ I wouldn’t be surprised if they struggled with getting on an escalator.

p.s the Bible says, believe on the Lord and you shall be saved. NOT admit to hacking UBT emails and you shall be saved. Good job here that fully captures everything the PBCC are really about. There’s nothing to commend these people, in their words and expressions, nothing priestly about this, maybe a little from the dad, but he’s brainwashing like crazy. What I love about this is the exposure of the system, and how things really operate. If there were any doubts those should be taken away and replaced by a hard reality of truth. PBCC and UBT by their own admission have plenty to hide. On a personal experience note the thuggery at the top has gotten slightly more pronounced but essentially it is the same brash ignorance that we witnessed in the 1960s. The leopard has not changed his spots. Look in your Bible folks it’s written right there.
