Thank you Malcolm for wearing your heart on your sleeve and your simple and profound appeal to our former brethren, most especially those who have a seat on the fence.
If it’s money that holds you back, you can get enough out here to get by, but know this assuredly that if you stay on in PBCC you will never have enough to feed the church empire and you will be poor both financially and morally you will be destitute. It should be clear to you that there is a better life out here,
Narrow and straightened is the road that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Thanks for the great podcasts you make, I hope you are bearing up ok over all the horror stories you hear. Please take care of yourself. I was fascinated by your comments on using you gut feelings, as they will be true even if all else fails.
I'm reading an interesting book 'Gut Check' and he talks about the gut brain link. There are neurons in you gut that also connect to your brain, so you actually have a gut brain as well! Cheers Cris

The Man of god position must be a real pain in the bum role. Deciding who can get wed, who can build a house, having to know where every waking minute is spent by his ardent followers and how much money each one is putting into his empire, dealing with peoples troubles, thinking for people, having to lead the meeting when he can be bothered to attend, and the hangovers, which he must endure to suffer the misery he generates- how he does it I don’t know.

Yeah, the freedom to question and freedom to search to seek out the truth is absolutely healthy . Even with beliefs associated to Christendom as well too, or existence of God and anything else of importance. Whenever humans are being cautioned against the option to question and to attempt to seek truth then the question what arises is why so. Why is it like that?.Why would there be the motivation to caution so strongly against doing it. Are there problems with skeletons hidden away in the passage of time what remain recorded history in relation to foundation of the truth what people should fear to find out about. Or what?
The truth should always be allowed enough room to stand on its own merit
Even if a God would exist. When we presently have so little confirmation of Gods actual existence, then why wouldn't this God still far prefer that we might at least stop to pay attention to that FACT based "observation"?.
Its possible that the health of our environment might have been looked upon in a far more healthy manner as well. if in fact humans hadn't relied "100%" degree (been coerced) on the theory that a God exist, who'd therefore also be able to be available to help fix up human foolish grave mistakes. Even ones related to greed what have been causing health of our environments to deteriorate and suffer
I hazard to guess that a vast amount of our grave level of environment mistakes related pollution problems today would be partly related to human having set their faith in theory of there being a God "for certain" . The level of certainty has partly helped to cause humans to be extra careless (environmentally). Being as such faith can serve to cause humans to be able to feel completely safe no matter what they might face (in future). Even to the extent that human can begin to feel complacent , and fearless, even in times when environment declines really ought to be causing people to feel far more concerned than what they have been.
therefore its not only healthy for humans to feel free to question. But its also potentially highly dangerous as well too, unless they'd "care to" do so
I never ever felt that i saw any real good sense in the reason behind why Brethren (or,Christian, Islamists, Hindu's or whoever else) are caused to feel fear of questioning aspects of their faith. To my view this fear has to be absolutely senseless . Such fears should be like basis to set off warning bell, amongst those believers, in relation to question of how sound the peoples faith basis really is
Even if in fact a God exists. Today the environment related to this Gods creation is still being constantly ruined. And this happens partly due to the extent of humans level of faith in theory of a God who'd be available to be around to make amends for humans poor decisions . No matter what the poor decision might involve
This type of faith carries great potential to cause people to become terribly complacent. And foolish
Around the globe today we have growing problems what are still directly related to this level complacency no matter whether there's a God what actually exists, or not
Even if a God wold exist its still healthy that humans would take care to reserve a certain level of scepticism . Human should still be grown up ADULTS enough to care to have a plan B IN PLACE to fall back on. This is basic wisdom. And a God would most likely still FAR prefer for human to most of all attempt to be wise about these matters
